Mels diner is an excellent place to eat. They where open today only (Sunday) for St. Patrick day. The corn beef and cabbage dinner was outstanding. The corn beef melted in your mouth.
Heated bathroom! Heater might be seatin on a case of beer but it's heated lol. The food was absolutely amazing! Fiance ordered the daily special which was chicken fried steak, green beans with bacon&ham, mashed potatoes smothered in white gravy, and toast. His eyes got great big first bite and said, "That's the best damn chicken fried steak I've had!" Everything was amazing. The tenderloin had a the best batter on it, fried perfectly golden and held...
Loved this place. Great food and owner a wonderful person with a great, warm and caring personality. Enjoyed my visit and will be back if ever out that way again. Warn and inviting atmosphere. Can relax and enjoy.
