Vaccaro's Pizza & Pasta

Food was ok. Had a chicken pasta dish that lacked flavor ,and they reheat noodles in hot water making it kind of watery, and ordered sweet tea and it was like barely flavored water and was told that since they were closing in an hr that they will not make fresh tea, and the way she said it was kind of rude. Gf ordered an egg plant dish and it was very good..

Best pizza in SW Missouri and it's not close. The owner is from Jersey, so he knows what he's doing. It's wild to find east coast quality pizza in rural MO, but it's real and it's spectacular.

Eh I mean the pizza was ok , I’ve had better though. What really made me leave the bad review was the rude staff.

Would not recommend to anyone. They came and made my children take their water cups out. They said no outside drinks allowed. We all were going to order water anyway. They sure didn’t make anymore money on us that way. It was the 2nd time we ever went to this place. The food was great enough the first time that we wanted to come back, but we will never come back now. It didn’t hurt for my kids to have their well water from home, they don’t like city water. My daughter had brought a caffeine free diet pop because she didn’t want the caffeinated diet pop that was on most restaurants menu. Never have I ever been treated like this in at least 20 years. The first time we came I did bring a Zevia and they didn’t care. We told them we wouldn’t be back. And they didn’t seem to care. It was pretty warm in there also may be the air didn’t work. You can’t preorder food here either, if you do they don’t cook it until you arrived, so they are behind in this area. And I did preorder toasted ravioli the first time we came and it was the last item to be received out of all the orders we placed that day. So it did no good for me to call ahead. They didn’t even start cooking it until all the orders were placed. Don’t waste your time doing that if you do choose to come here. All the employees are nice and kind, the owner doesn’t know how lucky they are for having such sweet employees, I wonder if they can bring their own water from home to work lol lol. If I was them I would work for a different place. It really ruined my kids night, they chose to not eat here. They had to come back home and cook.

Really rude, told me I wasn’t allowed to have my water bottle at the table, didn’t care that I have allergies and have to be very careful about what I drink and eat. They also seated us at a dirty table when there was a clean one open. Won’t ever be coming back to this place again. Sad because the last time I came they were very accommodating and friendly, and they had no problems with me bringing in my own water. We still tipped the waitress because it wasn’t her fault, but whoever is managing this place needs to consider their customer longevity over a quick buck.

While staying in Mansfield we used the reviews and chose Vaccaro's Pizza. And it is a great choice. Excellent quality. We dined in for dinner twice, and pizza to go for lunch twice. The Stromboli is best I've had, and my friends agreed. I also had Chicken Piccata with garlic knots which was very good. Everyone loved the pizza!!

Vacarro’s is always delicious!! I highly recommend the eggplant rollatini, shrimp scampi, and garlic knots. So good!!

I am not sure if food is better at other times of the day but we showed up at 7:45pm not knowing they closed at 8:00 p.m. because we are from Florida and have not experienced that at home OR in our 2 months of being on the road! To be honest this was the worst meal we have had in 2 months of traveling. My husband got the chicken parmesan and the chicken tasted microwaved, it was hard, dry and overcooked. I got the meatball appetizer and it tasted horrible. No flavor and tasted uncooked and were not very warm. To top off the bad food experience, one of the waitresses or maybe she was a manager? made us feel horrible by rudely stating they were supposed to already be closed so basically get out! This was a very bad experience and I would not recommend it at all!
