Vaccaro's Pizza & Pasta

Would not recommend to anyone. They came and made my children take their water cups out. They said no outside drinks allowed. We all were going to order water anyway. They sure didn’t make anymore money on us that way. It was the 2nd time we ever went to this place. The food was great enough the first time that we wanted to come back, but we will never come back now. It didn’t hurt for my kids to have their well water from home, they don’t like city water. My daughter had brought a caffeine free diet pop because she didn’t want the caffeinated diet pop that was on most restaurants menu. Never have I ever been treated like this in at least 20 years. The first time we came I did bring a Zevia and they didn’t care. We told them we wouldn’t be back. And they didn’t seem to care. It was pretty warm in there also may be the air didn’t work. You can’t preorder food here either, if you do they don’t cook it until you arrived, so they are behind in this area. And I did preorder toasted ravioli the first time we came and it was the last item to be received out of all the orders we placed that day. So it did no good for me to call ahead. They didn’t even start cooking it until all the orders were placed. Don’t waste your time doing that if you do choose to come here. All the employees are fake nice and kind. I wonder if the employees can bring their own water from home to work lol lol. If I was them I would work for a different place. It really ruined my kids night, they chose not to eat here and had to come back and cook at home.

Vacarro’s is always delicious!! I highly recommend the eggplant rollatini, shrimp scampi, and garlic knots. So good!!

Great food, friendly service. First time I've been, ordered create your own roll (like calzone). I was torn... Italian Beef Sandwiches on the menu! Meatball was delicious and under $2 for a meatball (we ordered one for the baby), so definitely throw one on extra!

I wish I had taken pictures, wait I got one of the pizza. The crust was yeasty, which I prefer. The sauce was homemade and not sweet but hearty. I had the pasta primavera that was full of fresh still crunchy veggies... Again a homemade sauce. I thought it was very good. My mom had fettuccine Alfredo but she was expecting the creamy mayo type sauce but it was served with authentic Alfredo sauce which I thought was delicious. Give this place a try, it is not candle lite romantic but delicious

Had a good flavor, but I don't want to drink my pizza. Thin crust pizza is NOT supposed to look like this. I took it to the front and asked if it was supposed to be this GOOEY n she actually said yes...n the offered to fix it "lighter"...which would seem to me an even more GOOEY crust. The pizza was 28.00..
I told them I would not pay 28 cents for another pizza from here...just GROSS !

The food was amazing! We stopped in on our way home after a long day of driving. We were starving and the smell of the food was overwhelming ? we ordered a starter, spinach salads for each and a chicken Parmesan to split. Our server didn’t bring us an extra plate so I asked for one and she brought me a tea saucer. We figured it out, ate our food and asked for a go box. Our server threw the box at me and walked off! When I mentioned the plate situation to the “manager” saying that when someone asks for a plate to split a meal they should bring a regular sized plate he said “that’s just how we do it, keeps the dishes down”….really? I didn’t even get to mention that the server threw my go box at me. I’ll definitely eat there again but it will be to go next time!

The spaghetti & meatballs are excellent. The meatballs are definately home made and great. The meat sauce is excellent. The Rolletini is how eggplant should taste. Salads (one side house and one side Ceasar) were what one expects from an Italian restaurant. The house pizza - what can I say? I think we just found our new pizza place. Real NY style pizza. Tastes great, dough is nearly perfect. We'll definately be back

Kid-friendliness: Seems to be kid friendly with several parties with kids when we were there for lunch/dinner after fathers day weekend.

We have eaten here several times, and the food is always consistently good. Service is good. The restaurant and restrooms are kept clean. We recommend Vaccaro's.

Stopped in on the way back to Gainesville from attending a Renaissance Fair in Hartsville. Had spaghetti in meat sauce with Italian sausage, wife had lasagna and we ordered a pizza to go to warm up and eat the next day (I couldn't give an honest opinion without trying the pizza as well)

The service was top notch, the food was excellent and the pizza even though it wasn't hot and fresh was amazing. I will stop to eat whenever I'm passing by that's for sure.

Nice Italian place, waitress was very nice. It is a smaller place but clean and food was good. We shared the chicken parmesan, and it was plenty. the garlic knots were fresh as well. Coffee is brewed one cup at a time, so it's always fresh.
