From the moment we were seated, it was clear this restaurant takes pride in every detail of the dining experience. The food was absolutely fantastic — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Each dish was thoughtfully presented and even better to taste. The service was equally exceptional. Our server struck the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism, offering helpful recommendations and demonstrating deep knowledge of the menu. One detail that truly stood out: my water glass never dropped below half full. It's a small thing, but it speaks volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. Overall, this was a flawless dining experience — excellent food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that made the evening feel special. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love our experiences at Acero. The staff and food are equally as incredible. We look forward to being back very soon.

Probably the best restaurant experience I have ever had from the server to the bartender just amazing. The food was next level we got the tasting with wine paring and what an experience that was 10/10 would and will recommend.

The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and extremely attentive. The food was very good, but not really work the very high price. You can get equally as good of food many other places at a better price. The atmosphere was nice and noise level low. You could easily visit with everyone at your table without yelling. While it was a quite enjoyable experience and all, we'll probably seek other lower priced options in the future.

Tasting menu with wine pairing was absolutely incredible! Our waiter Jake was amazing and made our dinner so enjoyable.

While the food was excellent as usual the lamb chops were not as tender as I would expect. The reason I won't be returning is I have never in my 50 plus years of dining out been asked to vacate my table while I was still enjoying my after dinner drink. It seems they "desperately needed the table". There were open tables at this time. Also I booked on Open Table 3 weeks in advance and could not get my preferred time of 6 or 6:30. There were several available tables at both those times. I will be calling to book in the future. Food is great but you won't have to ask me to leave again. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and had a fun evening except for the rudeness.

This was our first time in Acero and will not be our last! The food, service, and ambiance were all top notch!

There was only one table in the back room seated and we got sat right next to that table which I felt was strange. It was also super hot with no air flow so I asked to be moved, which they did. I've been many times and always look forward to going back. This time was the only time I didn't love it. My drink was on point, first entree was delicious, second one just ok and my (very expensive) ribeye steak was so fatty I couldn't eat it. The waiter was excellent and saw all the fat on my plate and insisted he bring me a new one. It was a little better but not great. I guess for the price I was expected something much different. The dessert was ok but I won't be running back for my next visit. Our waiter was the best part of our meal. He was very friendly and just all around great.

Whiskey cocktail 8/10, love the cherry, very manhattan
Crudo was fine
Linguini is cooked to the point I like! Shrimp could never go wrong
Rare ribeye!! Yayy!! First ever steak at fine dining (normally a seafood person)
Panna Cotta was 20/10!! Huge love to the not-too-sweet dessert😍😍 even with the caramel sauce the sweetness is perfect, almond scent I love

Acero is The Crossing’s sister restaurant, but more pure-blood Italian

Our waiter Jessie was fantastic. Everything was fantastic, the food the timing and just the feel of the place. Though it's something we can't afford every night we will be back soon. It was better than we remembered. Thank you acero. Keep it up!!

We had the four course meal. The starter and pasta were wonderful so we had high expectations for the third course, barramundi for me and trout for my husband. The plates arrived---everything was dishwasher white. White fish, white mashed potatoes, white caulifower, all cooked in at least a stick of butter. My husband liked the trout (when turned over from skin side, did have a bit of a blush color) but thought the supporting vegetables was inedible b/c it was literally floating in oil and butter. Desert was fantastic (chocolate torte for us both). For the price tag, overall, would not return.

The best Italian in St Louis. Harris was fantastic. We took home our leftovers and can't wait for more bolognese tonight. Darling neighborhood gem.

Best experience I’ve had at a restaurant. Service was amazing. Our server let us know about the menu and drinks and walked us through it all very kindly. 10/10 recommended. My wife and I came here for our anniversary and I requested they put “happy anniversary” on the menus and that is exactly was they did!!! Great place!

Acero is one of the best restaurants in St Louis. We are never disappointed when we dine here, and Saturday was no different.
