We had a lovely evening sitting outside. Perfect weather! The tasting menu was delicious. My husband loved the scallops and I loved the chicken. Both of our salads were fantastic. I had the gnocco with prosciutto and it was amazing. Desserts were fabulous!!

Just a beautiful STL restaurant that offers amazing Italian cuisine. From the service to the food, this place is a must and can easily become you're one and only Italian restaurant. Whether on a date or with a group of friends, this is a great place to be and spend your evening ?

Lovely, cozy space, personal and interactive service, and lovely food. We wanted to see what they had to offer, so went with the 7 course chef's tasting, and it really was great. Highlights: Lovely ramp ravioli with housemade pasta, egg yolk and whipped ricotta. All the pastas we had were lovely and tender with a nice bit of tooth. Sauces were rich and flavorful with some light citrus or herbal element to brighten things up. Only downside of the whole meal was one poor pork chop of our two (tough, raw on the bone), but so many nice surprises and everything else was really nicely prepared. Fish courses (tuna crudo and a skatewing filet) were perfect. Dessert (cheesecake with blueberry compote) had a lovely pop of herbs in the compote.Service was really attentive and personal, pacing of the meal was quick but not rushed.Atmosphere is cozy but comfortable, not stuffy at all, but nice enough for a "fancy" date.We really enjoyed it!

The pasta with lamb, ravioli and gnocchi, burrata and tomato soup all were delicious however the beet salad was a bit bland and basic. We ordered the four course tasting menu and portions were very generous and good value. Loved the waiter and his food and wine recommendations. We will continue to go back.

We had a great evening. Acero has delightful atmosphere combining old world and modern elements. We ate on the restaurant side, but there is also a bar side that was buzzing. Our food was scrumptious. We had tuna crudp, gnocco frido, various pastas, and the trout. All the dishes were, like the atmosphere, a combination of traditional and creative, and all highly recommended. Our server did a great job throughout, and we had a chance to meet the owner too who was unassuming and sincerely took an interest in our dining experience.

Starting with our waiter Zurn, it was a wonderful dining experience. He made our visit so enjoyable. We did the tasting menu and I chose the beet salad, egg raviolo, scallops and cheesecake! All the dishes were were beyond our expectations. The Sparking Limoncello went well with our selections. We will definitely go back.

Our table was ready upon arrival. Zurn provided great service, patiently guided us through the menu, offering suggestions and clarifications. The Miste salad is wonderful. Overall, a very nice dining experience if a bit pricey.

My wife and I just went to Acero to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere and food were absolutely amazing, but the best part was the service, Jacob made our evening even more special with his kindness and attention to details. We both tried the tasting menu and it was delicious.

This was our first visit to Acero and it certainly won't be our last. We ordered the four course tasting meal. It was outstanding. The choices are great and it is WAY too much food, but the good news is, you can enjoy that delicious food the next day with all that is boxed up and brought home. Our waiter Jake was amazing. He was very attentive but also gave us time to enjoy our cocktails when we first sat down. He did not rush us through our dinner either which was delightful. My only complaint is that it is a very loud restaurant. We had a two top in the back of the restaurant. The next time we are there I will specifially ask for a table in the front. The tables in the front are spread out more and it is a lot quieter. Make sure you make a reservation well ahead of when you want to go there. This place books up, but I understand why. It is scrumptious.

Exquisite food! Service was excellent as well. We will be returning to try more of the menu. Each course was timed perfectly and was enough to not leave you craving more. Overall a great dining experience.

So good we went two nights in a row, ordering different food each time. Four veteran travelers used to great food all agreed Acero's is on a very short list of best restaurants; not just in St. Louis, but anywhere! Just amazing food, staff and ambience. The high ratings from thousands are real, earned and deserved! Enjoy!
