Comida maravillosa y deliciosa. Jason fue un gran trabajador. ¡Muy conocedor! Volveré.
The food was exceptional. Maggie, our server, was very pleasant, personable and attentive. It was a great experience and we will be back.
Just a fantastic hidden gem. Food was so flavorful and atmosphere was top notch.
The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! I enjoyed the chickpea salad the most, it was a combination of things I would have never thought of and it was great.
Jason, our server was absolutely fantastic! Very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu offerings..wonderful all around.
This food is AMAZING! Highly recommend the lobster bisque and the appetizers, salads.
Being able to see into the spotless kitchen, puts me at ease (super clean!).
This is a Maplewood 💎 of a restaurant.
You have to try the chorizo argentino appetizer!!
Very nice restaurant with great service and food that is both beautiful and tasty. It was a nice change of pace for a non- local not used to many options.
From the moment we walked into Asador Del Sur, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between warm elegance and Latin soul, creating a dining experience that feels both vibrant and intimate.
Let’s talk about the food—the pork belly is truly in a league of its own. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, it melts in your mouth and leaves you dreaming of the next bite. A must-have dish that alone is worth the visit.
Pair it with their spicy margarita, which deserves a standing ovation. It’s the kind of cocktail that plays on the edge of boldness—refreshing with just the right kick of heat, balanced beautifully with citrus.
A special shoutout to Jason, our waiter, who made the entire lunch shine even brighter. Friendly, smart, and incredibly knowledgeable, Jason guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and insightful recommendations. His attention to detail and warm personality made us feel like VIPs from start to finish.
Asador Del Sur isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience that celebrates great food, drinks, and hospitality. Can’t wait to return!
Amazing service! Delightful atmosphere. Delicious salads and empinadas and entres and rice pudding. We will be back to try more. Jennifer was a treat. So was the spectrum guy who's name i missed; thank you all for a spectacular meal. Wow!!!
Very enjoyable Sunday brunch. Not too busy, top-notch service, and excellent food. Huevos rancheros over tostones was an interesting twist on the breakfast classic - not to be missed if you love plantains (also be sure to get their maduros!). The empanadas here are not to be missed. Order the local favorite cheese and guava if you've never had it before - you will not regret it!

Brought our child here to introduce them to South American cuisine ahead of some travel. Now it’s a family favorite with repeat visits. Entraña, pork chop, lentils and rice, milanesa, patacones, and empanadas are all favorites. Several times now we’ve had Jason as a server, who guided us through our first visit with choices based on our travel, and has since made amazing recommendations - he’s been awesome. Couldn’t recommend Asador Del Sur enough based on both food and the people.

Asador del Sur has been in my sights for a while now, and getting a spot on the STL Top 100 cemented a visit. Pretty sure reservations are typically encouraged here, but strolling in at 430 we had no problem being seated. The decor is nice and not overly loud or flashy in any direction, pretty simple.
Service was extremely friendly and attentive, waters brought quickly and drink orders taken. Started off with a Levanta Muertos, a very light and refreshing drink. The beef and olive empanadas were delivered quickly, and were amazing with the sauce. The Lobster Salad was pricey, but very well worth the cost!! Polished it all off with a Spicy Margarita. Very highly recommend!
