Delicious.

This spot has sweet and savory food. For the savory food, me and my companion got the buffalo chicken panini (SO GOOD!!!), avocado toast, and potato soup. For the sweet treats, I got the banana caramel macaroon (DELICIOUS), snickerdoodle cookie, and banana nut muffin. For drinks we got a hot chocolate and cinnamon bun latte. EVERYTHING was super delicious. I especially recommend the chicken panini, cinnamon bun latte, and as a treat, the banana caramel macaroon.

Overall, the food and atmosphere was fantastic, I can’t wait to go again!

Coffee was alright. I would not recommend their bowls since I found mine a bit small. The bathrooms were also a bit dirty. But the servers were nice and the atmosphere was good as well.

I should have know by the fact this place was dead empty at 10am because this is the worst coffee shop I have ever been to in the entire Stl. I spent 32 dollars for 2 iced coffees- coffee was bitter and burnt tasting, a dry banana nut muffin that must have been a week old and an extremely horrible grilled cheese- pressed to death with a panini press with barely any cheese. the clutter in this place is a 10 - random stuff everywhere. I would never waste my time visiting this horrible establishment again.

Experienced the Gen Z stare from the get go when ordering here… I’m not certain the cashier said any words to me while taking our order. She didn’t let us know we needed to wait for our drinks to be called and that only our food would be brought to the table… except, the food and coffee that was brought out to our table was the wrong order completely.

The employee running the food was apologetic, and I certainly feel for service staff, but this visit was a mess that is discouraging me from returning. Especially with plenty of other (better) coffee in the area.

I popped in to finally have a cup of coffee and perhaps a treat. Meredith the barista was truly kind and delightful to create a comfortable space to enjoy. I took the time to put the phone down and really look around. Tables are space nicely not too and not too close. If you’re looking for a place for friends to make a memory that last forever. Start the day here to plan your adventure.

This was my first but certainly will not be my last visit here. I tried the seasonal mint latte. While I wish I could taste more of the mint, it was delicious and filled to the very top of the cup. The baked goods looked amazing and I'd like to try other latte flavors.

I grew up in Maplewood and Foundation Grounds was such a hit when it moved in. Cute and yummy and all that. When I moved back last year I didn’t realize it was now a different business (they somehow still have “Foundation Grounds” on their canopy. Is that legal?) Anyway, I ate inside with my son and I had a latte and we both had pastries. The coffee was very average. The pastries were stale and just not good. I thought maybe it was an off day so we tried again a couple of weeks later. This time we ordered pastries again, a coffee, and a bagel sandwich with egg and a few other things I don’t remember. The coffee was still average, the pastries were still stale and tasteless, but the worst part was that the egg sandwich was literally liquid in the middle. I don’t know how that even happens unless it’s some kind of frozen liquid patty that was microwaved, but it was actually disgusting. I did not complain because I already decided this place is not worth my time. Such a shame, too, because it’s within walking distance and the space is still kind of sweet. The Living Room down the street is always packed and this place is almost empty most of the time. I think that says it all. For such a prime location this place should be and do much better.

Amazing coffee, Amazing people, Amazing food. The baked goods are done by the Blue Duck down the street and this is probably the second best place to get those from. The coffee is always so perfect. There's a lot of places that you can go to for a dirty chai and you get either too much coffee or too much chai. I've never had that experience here. Love this place, always happy to be in the area for more.

Please come here!!! They were beyond helpful. My son has an allergy and they checked all the food he was looking at. It's quiet and calm.
