Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken

First time trying it. Not that impressed.

Ordered carry out, was greeted immediately upon arriving! Ordered a white piece combo and dark piece combo with Mac and cheese, fried okra, and beans. Chicken was crispy, flavorful, with a hint of spice! Everything was fantastic, service was timely and super friendly. Didn’t dine in, but noticed there’s an outside too for dining. Would recommend!

Fresh, home style cooking. The chicken was hot and crispy. A bit spicy for my taste buds, but that's just me. Not a criticism at all. Potato salad is excellent. Friendly wait staff.

We have talked about stopping here for several years, we were looking forward to a nice fried chicken dinner which we did receive however the portion size was more suited for a toddler not adults this is the first time we have ever had a chicken dinner eaten every bit of it and both me and my husband left feeling hungry. We had the sweetest lady take great care of us and everything we ate was delicious but we spent $40 and left feeling unsatisfied.

Went to the location in Maplewood, Mo. Ordered a side of greens that were unedible. They tasted as if they had just taken them out of a can, no flavor and cold. My chicken was not done. The waitress did take them off the bill, however she didn't calculate the bill correctly. I will Not go back.

Whoever is working today @1:30pm 8/30 on the register is very unprofessional unenthusiastic and rude so is the cook who is currently there is just as unenthusiastic and rude. DO BETTER THESES PRICES ARE TOO HIGH FOR THIS

I haven't had this since I went to Memphis.
I'm so glad I found it in St. Louis. Awesome. Fried chicken staff was super friendly.

I've been twice now (carry out and dine in) and the chicken is some of the best!! Each time the service is outstanding. The servers are extremely nice and friendly. The chicken is flavorful, hot and juicy so careful with the first bite ?. I'll definitely be returning!

This is absolutely the best chicken in the world. I have had tried lots of chicken, and have drove hours away for chicken that I thought would be good but wasn't. Gus's will forever hold the crown!

It’s cooked already how does it take 30 minutes to get a to go order boxed up standing here watching them joking and messing around in the back instead of taking care of order last time I’ll go here for sure.
