That's some delicious fried chicken. Well breaded and fried with a nice base level of spiciness. I got a recommendation to check it out, so I was a little surprised they didn't have different levels of spiciness, but it was very tasty, so it worked for me.Standard sides are beans and slaw, which were both good. The fried okra was a step up and fresh with a good batter.We were a walk-in party of 8, which they were easily able to accommodate, but the food took a little longer than we anticipated. Well worth the wait.

Me and my family went for some lunch on the weekend. We tried the new chicken sandwich and it was awesome! It quickly became our favorite chicken sandwich because the chicken was so good and juicy, and it wasn’t too over the top. The fries were simple. Me personally, I think they can do more with it. Other than that, Not only the food was good but you can clearly see it was good. They were packed for a Sunday lunch. Special shout out to our server Peter, Peter’s service was such a delight, they’re lucky to have him!!!!!

The food at Gus's is incredible but this location lacked any and all sense of urgency. There was one waitress, 2 cooks and 2 people whose role I'm not actually sure of.... Once we ordered we waited almost 40 minutes for chicken and sides. I would recommend ordering carry out but there were long lines for that as well. If they can work out their staffing and assignment issues they can be great!

We decided to try this gem out. Delicious fried chicken, not a fan of spicy food and this gave a nice little kick. Cole slaw was like my momma used to make.The sweet tea reminded me of visiting kin in the south. Customer service was outstanding and they were busy!!! Very friendly and personable! Thanks Gus'

Was in the mood for chicken and decided to try this place. There is a bunch of parking, so don't worry about having to park in the street. The service is on the slower side. As for the food, the chicken was overdone, on the spicier side and hard on the outside. We had the okra for an appetizer which was good and the sides were good. Don't think I will be going back here.

First thing I noticed was the rustic atmosphere and the full tables. We went at around 6:30 pm Sunday night and the place was packed. We were served immediately and the waitress recommended the two breast special. Due to the volume of dine in and carry out customers it did take about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, but it was really worth the wait. The chicken was hot and cooked perfectly. The beans were great with just a touch of heat. The slaw was creamy and delicious. Chicken is all they do, and they do it well. I can't wait to go back!!
Their chicken is very good. It is always busy at Gus's chicken. I like it a lot. The Ambiance is nice.
