Weirdest, worst experience ever. Traveled five hours for a funeral and wanted somewhere to stop for the family to eat. When I first walk in, the entire staff just stared at us. Then we ask for a table. My sister ordered a beer and the waitress said “no alcohol”. And we said “you have none?” And she said “no”. But we’re looking at the menu full of alcohol and full bar and ask “but you have it, we’re confused” to which the waitress scoffed and walked away. We felt so unwelcomed we just left.

I was visiting from Portland Oregon and truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Better than my favorite restaurant at home. The server was a little awkward. Gave me the check and then stood there waiting for me to pay. We were not even sure if we were done or were gonna order something else. Was not a big deal, more for feedback to restaurant on training.

Several Mexican restaurants have come and gone in Marble Hill and I hope these guys stay. Prices aren't too high, food is good, and service is good.

Some of the best tortilla chips I have had, they are thin, hot, and crispy. Very large portions at a good price.

I don't hardly ever like corn chips. Like EVER. I dint even bother to TRY ppls corn chips. I got some in a take out order and started to throw them out-but took a nibble off of one...IM HOOKED. They are so crisp and perfectly thin, almost like AMSR for the mouth. No salt ( I hate that, dump that salt on!)... but I salted them myself. I don't know why french fries and chips have to be a health food all of a sudden but if I order fried food- um I probably am not caring about the SALT. So there's that. I ordered the Taco Salad. It was average.

TL;DR: Delicioso y sabroso. Seriously good eats, but not the typical Mexican restaurant fair you may be used to.

The salsa was delicious. Again, not the typical flavor profile I'm I've seen at most restaurants, but delicious on its own.

The rest of the food feels more like Mexican-American comfort foods to me. My order of the Papas Nachos was essentially spiral cut potato chips covered in chicken and cheese.

My wife also ordered the queso fundido and found it to be well above average.

Additionally another member of our party stated their taco salad was exceptional.

Authentic Mexican Restaurant experience. Great food, service and price. There is room behind the restaurant for an outdoor party.

Kid-friendliness: A number of families with young children visited while we ate.
