Driving through on a trip a made an effort to eat local. Did not disappoint. Well worth the trip.

Dawn was a great waitress, friendly and very helpful. The food is amazing. And the pie is out of this world good. Also met Letti who makes the pies herself. I can not describe how good the pie is. Definitely recommend to anyone loot for a great meal in Marshall.

Food portions were the right size, I wasn't really impressed with the biscuits and gravy. Gravy looked and tasted like it came from a bag not made from scratch.

We come here often, and it never disappoints! The food is top notch, home cooking, and the owners and staff treat you like family. Great variety for everyone in the family, even the pickiest of the bunch! And the homemade pies, oh my!!

My family went to eat there together after a funeral and the waitress was horrible to multiple people in our group, argued over what was ordered and refused to give correct change to some, "didn't have change" was her excuse. Did not listen to anyone when they said their food was wrong.

Warning: beware of a potential scam if you pay by credit card. On at least two occasions in the last year, our credit card was charged more than double the amount of the bill (including tip) that we signed for. When disputing it with the owner, the complaint was deflected, though they refunded the difference. Regrettable, as the food is decent and the service is friendly.

My favorite place in town to go have a steak the 14 oz ribeye with extra mushroom and onion sauteed on top is phenomenal it's my favorite!!!!!! The fried chicken is also really really really really really good!!!!!!
Kid-friendliness: When my kids were younger we always brought them here for Mickey mouse pancakes!!!!! It was their favorite thing and their favorite treat to get! They are very tolerant of children being there. That's a plus for parents!!!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room is spacious so there is enough room for wheelchairs to come in and around and plenty of tables for a wheelchair to be able to get up to and people to be able to eat there!!!!! Very handicapped accessible!!!!!
