Kazoku Hibachi and Sushi Bar (Marshall, MO)

I ordered a California roll it was okay (kinda plain) but the seaweed was slimy compared to what I’ve had. I ate it on the way home and with in minutes of finishing it we had to pull over because it made me so sick.

Difficult language barrier, food good but not exceptional.

What a pleasant surprise in Marshall at a Japanese restaurant! So friendly and the food was beautiful and tasted great!!! I’ve had sushi many places, including big cities, but this was one of my favorite experiences! It needs a little paint and a good cleaning, but it was well worth it!

Great place to have some Japanese food. The food was good and came out quickly. Service could be more friendly. I recommend ordering either the Fried Chicken Rice or the Summy Roll.

A little, unassuming hole in the wall place. Those are definitely some of the best. We have had sushi/hibachi at several places, and this place is just a good as any of those. We would definitely stop by again if passing through the area.

They were very busy when we arrived.
We stayed patient waited as needed.

I’ve been there twice now (first time: habachi, second time: chicken tempura roll - maki). the food is very, very delicious, and fast and friendly service. definitely a must-go to restaurant!

I used to love this place but everything has just gotten worse. The wait times have become 45 mins + for old food. When the food was fresh I didn't mind waiting as much but lately it's all just been bad.

I placed an order over the phone, my order was supposed to come with soup and salad, I come home with my order and didn’t get any soup or salad I was so disappointed called them and told them about it, and the person on the phone was very rude that someone walked in, in the restaurant and greeted them and hung up on me. Never ordering anything else from there! Bad service.

They’ll mess up your ordered even when you try to clarify before leaving.

The Japanese food and service is top rate! Our plates were works of art! If they had a high end looking restaurant in a metropolitan area, the restaurant would be an immediate hot spot!! We’ve been here twice and the food is fresh and delicious!
