The custard is great but they need an IPad or something so I can tip. Nobody carries cash and they deserve the money people would normally give
This location is very different from the location in Richmond Heights. I think they need to clean their ice cream machines a bit more. Just not as fresh as the other Andy's locations. The pecans are never warm and hot with that roasty taste like the Hanley location. The staff are friendly and I feel that is important to note because other places you are met with such rudness this day in age.

The flavors are so crisp and harmonious with each other, and while the drive thru or walk up lines can sometimes be a little long, they do a great job moving along and getting people their food.

Andy's is a staple in the Ballwin/Ellisville area. If you want good ice cream, you have to go to Andy's. Just know that weekends during the summer are always busy.

For such chain restaurants, I always rate them based on their staff first, then the food. The staff in this branch are so kind, polite and quick. Really appreciate your hard word. We had a vanilla cone and chocolate sundae. Both were delicious

We pulled up and an outside attendant took our order. Now, I have to preface this review by saying, I go to Andy's A LOT! Sometimes everyday, sometimes 3 times a day...so I know a little about what I order, its cost and the container it is served in, because I only order 1 menu item and I order it the same way every time regardless of the Andy's location.
This evening, when I pulled up to the window and they gave me my total, it was $3 more than usual or expected. I handed them my debit card and asked if their prices went up. The young man told me the cost of a large concrete with added fruit was... I told him that I didn't order a concrete. I ordered a diy sundae. He immediately went to get the store mgr who immediately corrected the mistake. When they brought the finished product to the window, it was about 1/3 less than I have ever seen it. He tried to explain to me why but I have never been served my order and it was less than any amount before. Again, he went to get his mgr who came to the window and again explained to me since I ordered a large, because of the added fruit, they put it in this container for it all to fit. I told her that I order this item ALL the time and never had my cup NOT been filled to the top. We were very polite to one another but we were saying something different from each other. She immediately took the sundaes and told me she was more than happy to put more in them, asked me did I want more custard, fruit or both... I told her more custard would be fine. She filled them up to the brim, put lids on them and bagged them. She then said she wanted to refund my money because she felt so bad about the confusion about my order and the hassle it caused me. I told her I didn't want a refund, she corrected everything without hassle and I was very happy with her service. I added she had EXCELLENT customer service and I would be happy to post a review.
So, here it is! Andy's Frozen Custard on Dorsett Rd not only has an excellent product but exemplary customer service and I will be telling people about that experience for an example of what great customer service is!
