Food was wonderful, fast and great tasting. Prices were very good. Samson our waiter was a delight! Would highly recommend!!!!
Loved Final Cut when it was the previous steakhouse. The Final Cut Smokehouse, not so much. Reservation for 3 on Friday night. Absolutely horrible experience and food. Service was very slow, many tables around us were also displeased with how long it took for anyone to come take an order or bring out food. Speaking of food, we ordered an appetizer of the deviled eggs. $7 for 3 half eggs with barely any filling in them. They were “meh” at best. Signature cocktail - maple old fashioned was horrible. No balance to the drink and tasted nothing like a good old fashioned should. Meals came out finally, and one order of salmon was raw in the middle. Had to flag someone down to send it back. When it came back out, at least it was cooked fully, but it was the same piece that had been cut into initially. My guess is they microwaved it to get it done. My brisket plate was a train wreck. The brisket looked dry and was an odd color. It obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp as all of the exposed surfaces were dark and dry, but the areas under were a different color. I ordered fried okra and received cold french fries for one side. The brisket was dry and had an odd smoke flavor. My guess is they are using liquid smoke to boost the “smoke” flavoring of the meat. The burnt ends were chunks of fat that were also dry and chewy. I ate less than half of my meal. My wife’s chicken looked great, but once again was dry and just “off”. None of us finished our meals or drinks. No one ever came by to check on us or refresh drinks at any time during the meal. Had to flag the waitress down by waving a credit card at her to get our check. We told her when she handed me the check that the meal was awful. Her response was “Oh, I’ll let the chef know”. Not “Let me get my manager” or anything along those lines. Charged us full price for all of the crap, and didn’t even follow up regarding our feedback about the food. I will be shocked if this place makes it to the end of the year under current management. Very poor excuse for a supposed “high end” smokehouse. To add insult to injury, about an hour later my stomach hurt so bad and I ended up sick from the food. Eat there at your own risk, but my recommendation is to save your money and go elsewhere. The management obviously doesn’t care one bit about providing an exceptional experience for guests willing to spend decent money for a meal. I would give ZERO stars if that were an option!
What a dreadful experience! I get the impression that Hollywood has just given up on running a high quality steakhouse and just doesn't care what happens any longer in this place. In short, I suffered through a nearly one hour wait to get horrible food. The beef brisket was dried out, lukewarm at best, and was obviously cooked a long time ago. Oh, it was also very tough! Good beef brisket should be slow cooked and very tender. This restaurant appeared to be short of help but a dismal interior - it's sad because previous Harrah's operated restaurants here a decade ago were outstanding. Hollywood management - are you listening?
Won't be back, not interested in even trying their food after dealing with the manager. Manager was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and plain snotty when our party walked in. Way to go on your 2.4 rating.
After last nights Sammy Hagar concert, my friend and I stayed at Hollywood Casino Hotel. Around 1:00ish this morning, a drunk man tried to break into our room by kicking down the door. We tried to call security and the front desk and none of the options on the phone would work. I called the hotel’s main number from my personal cellphone which I had to listen to all the prompts, which then connects to reservations who then had to transfer me to the front desk and then on to security. We were lucky that he did not get into the room but it was extremely scary and the situation with the phone added to the anxiety and stress!! Especially when the hotel didn’t seem to take it as seriously as we did. They said call us again if he comes back. WTH our phone didn’t work and we didn’t have pen and paper in the room to write anything down on. We were never brought a new phone and front desk did not see that a request had been entered to have one brought or even to have the one in the room checked. After the amount of money I spent on my room it was ridiculous that the front desk manager offered a “discount” of $125. Not even a 1/4th of my room cost. They didn’t care about our lives as long as they had our money. There are other casinos around the area to gamble and other hotels to stay at. I don’t trust them to protect me. I was also notified multiple times that the concert was sold out at 20,000 people and to prepare accordingly. Well the hotel didn’t plan and provide extra security and they sure didn’t check to ensure all their rooms are adequately equipped.
Without fail, Hollywood has the worst customer service of any casino I have dealt with in my lifetime. No one ever answers an email or a phone call in anything close to resembling a timely manner. IO have been waiting 10 days now on a response to an email regarding a hotel room. It's an absolute joke. My days throwing money away to this place are coming to an abrupt halt very, very soon.
The food was cold. Food had decent flavor...but was cold.
Service left alot to be desired. Took drink refill order...only forgot to bring the drinks back.
The air conditioner was working overtime!!
Good thing the meal was free.

Ordered the filet medium and was served 2 times incorrect temperature. Then on the 3 time they came out with a sirloin. No discounts expect for a free dessert which was ice cold from the freezer. No wonder reviews are so bad I suggest everyone head to Roadhouse and save yourself the aggravation. Ugh for a Friday night!

Super slow even though the restaurant was empty, and the brisket was so dry we couldn’t finish it.

what the heck. I got a hot machine and then at 5:30 they say cash out to everyone and leave. what a joke. sorry I work 3rd shift.
The food is terrible. I'm not sure if any of the employees have restaurant experience or are just casino employees posing as people who have experience running a restaurant.

Our party had the brisket Philly, pulled pork sandwich and grilled 1/4 chicken, beans and fries for sides. Each item was very underwhelming to say the least - worst brisket I’ve ever had. The house made sauces were all inferior also.

Final Cut used to be a good restaurant and supposedly was getting shut down to have a new tenant open a Mexican restaurant. I assume that never happened but this “reopened” restaurant is horrible. It’s obvious who ever is in charge of this place wasn’t given a budget and they have limited restaurant experience. They were at least smart enough to turn the room to the right into an actual bar with stools but 90% of the room is being wasted with waiting couches. Create an opening in the bar for the bartender to get out and service the whole room.
Anyways, the food wasn’t good and my two “hot” sides were both cold. The couples on each side of me also had to send back their sides because they were cold. $55 on a plate of food that I barely ate and an old fashion. The bar also doesn’t have draft beers and their bourbon collection is limited. If you’re paying out of pocket, this place is a rip off. If you are using rewards, still not even worth it.
