After last nights Sammy Hagar concert, my friend and I stayed at Hollywood Casino Hotel. Around 1:00ish this morning, a drunk man tried to break into our room by kicking down the door. We tried to call security and the front desk and none of the options on the phone would work. I called the hotel’s main number from my personal cellphone which I had to listen to all the prompts, which then connects to reservations who then had to transfer me to the front desk and then on to security. We were lucky that he did not get into the room but it was extremely scary and the situation with the phone added to the anxiety and stress!! Especially when the hotel didn’t seem to take it as seriously as we did. They said call us again if he comes back. WTH our phone didn’t work and we didn’t have pen and paper in the room to write anything down on. We were never brought a new phone and front desk did not see that a request had been entered to have one brought or even to have the one in the room checked. After the amount of money I spent on my room it was ridiculous that the front desk manager offered a “discount” of $125. Not even a 1/4th of my room cost. They didn’t care about our lives as long as they had our money. There are other casinos around the area to gamble and other hotels to stay at. I don’t trust them to protect me. I was also notified multiple times that the concert was sold out at 20,000 people and to prepare accordingly. Well the hotel didn’t plan and provide extra security and they sure didn’t check to ensure all their rooms are adequately equipped.
Without fail, Hollywood has the worst customer service of any casino I have dealt with in my lifetime. No one ever answers an email or a phone call in anything close to resembling a timely manner. IO have been waiting 10 days now on a response to an email regarding a hotel room. It's an absolute joke. My days throwing money away to this place are coming to an abrupt halt very, very soon.
The food was cold. Food had decent flavor...but was cold.
Service left alot to be desired. Took drink refill order...only forgot to bring the drinks back.
The air conditioner was working overtime!!
Good thing the meal was free.

Ordered the filet medium and was served 2 times incorrect temperature. Then on the 3 time they came out with a sirloin. No discounts expect for a free dessert which was ice cold from the freezer. No wonder reviews are so bad I suggest everyone head to Roadhouse and save yourself the aggravation. Ugh for a Friday night!

Super slow even though the restaurant was empty, and the brisket was so dry we couldn’t finish it.

what the heck. I got a hot machine and then at 5:30 they say cash out to everyone and leave. what a joke. sorry I work 3rd shift.
The food is terrible. I'm not sure if any of the employees have restaurant experience or are just casino employees posing as people who have experience running a restaurant.

Our party had the brisket Philly, pulled pork sandwich and grilled 1/4 chicken, beans and fries for sides. Each item was very underwhelming to say the least - worst brisket I’ve ever had. The house made sauces were all inferior also.

Final Cut used to be a good restaurant and supposedly was getting shut down to have a new tenant open a Mexican restaurant. I assume that never happened but this “reopened” restaurant is horrible. It’s obvious who ever is in charge of this place wasn’t given a budget and they have limited restaurant experience. They were at least smart enough to turn the room to the right into an actual bar with stools but 90% of the room is being wasted with waiting couches. Create an opening in the bar for the bartender to get out and service the whole room.
Anyways, the food wasn’t good and my two “hot” sides were both cold. The couples on each side of me also had to send back their sides because they were cold. $55 on a plate of food that I barely ate and an old fashion. The bar also doesn’t have draft beers and their bourbon collection is limited. If you’re paying out of pocket, this place is a rip off. If you are using rewards, still not even worth it.

I was able to try out this restaurant after the new name and change of food. I was NOT disappointed! This is by far the best decision Hollywood Casino has made for their choice selection of restaurants! The food was amazing and the price of the food was very reasonable for the portion size. I was very delighted and definitely will be going back again! ?

Wanted to try this place after the format change and was not dissapointed. Slightly more casual atmosphere and definately a more casual menu. The bar area has more of a country feel and looked comfortable. Food was good and timely. A couple of suggestions for the dining area would be to add some kind of background music and to re-think the heavy paper table covers.

My spouse and I were able to visit. This newly opened and revised establishment for their tasting menu. What a pleasant surprise! A casual, yet upscale, Western vibe greeted us. The front eating area has been repurposed as a luxury lounge/bar. The dining area is decked with fresh flowers, butcherblock paper, and livestock images. We were presented with a flight of new cocktails to try. I'm not a drinker, but the Spicy Paloma and Blackberry Smash were refreshing and delicious.I chose fried green tomatoes for the appetizer. These were ok. Flavor was a little bland and the coating came right off making it difficult to eat. Spouse got the deviled eggs and we both agreed we would come back just to eat these. Entree for me was the pork platter and creamed corn. Both were delicious! The port had just a hint of smoke and was so juicy. The ribs were tender with a good crust. The pork belly bites were a bit overdone for me but still had good smoke flavor. The two sauces were hits as well ( although there isn't yet a sweet bbq sauce offeting). Spouse chose the salmon which, unfortunately wasn't cooked through. He picked the pit beans and wasn't disappointed there. Smoky with a bit of heat and nice chunks of brisket. We had no room for dessert but had to try the key lime cheesecake (OMG I wish I had known about this in the beginning); seriously yummy and huge portion. Second was the apple bread pudding. Good ratio of apples and nice spice level but just a tad dry. Final Cut is off to a great rebirth!
