A wonderful coffee shop! Coffee and bakery treats were great and the staff are really friendly!
Great people and great coffee!
Coffee was great, friendly service.
Place was....they had some table and seats even a corner where you can take some books to read.
But it was quite loud
A lot of parking spaces .
Great place to meet up with other people and enjoy a sweet beverage.
My new favorite spot when I need to recharge (and I don't just mean the caffeine fix). Beautiful staff here who care about coffee and the Lord, and an excellent spot for community gatherings, religious or not. Skip Starbucks and support local!
I honestly hate to be their first and only bad review, but I have to be honest with myself. I decided to ditch my usual Starbucks run to instead support a local coffee shop and I was actually excited to do so. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the older lady, but it seemed disingenuous like I had interrupted something. The lady was, in great detail, explaining the menu to the 2 people in front of me. She was very chipper with them , and even asked about their day/plans, etc. I can’t help but notice I did not receive the same treatment. Instead she was very short and straightforward with me, didn’t ask me how my day was going, didn’t explain the menu to me (not that I really needed her to considering I had already looked at the menu online), but still. Little did she know, this was my first (and now last) time coming there.
It wasn’t until after I told her what I’d like to order that she told me the drink’s ingredients which I was fine with. Prior to that, she did not suggest the “drink of the day” or anything of the sort.
I’m a super nice person and I didn’t have a complicated order so I was confused as to why she didn’t try to make me feel welcomed. I mean, I know I don’t have the typical “look” for someone who orders coffee at a Lutheran church, but I thought this was 2025, and not 1955… my money should be appreciated just like any other customer regardless of their physical appearance. While I was waiting on my coffee, another guy walks in and she sparks up friendly conversation with him. Again, he was “the typical look” of course. Anyway, she seemed more chipper as she told me “have a good day” than she did when I walked in to order. It kind of broke my heart that people are still like this. Especially working within a church. A place where everyone should feel welcomed in the house of God. Too bad we are all the same on the inside… the coffee wasn’t that great to have to deal with what I’d call, borderline prejudice behavior.
And no need to respond with “oh, we’re sorry, we treat everyone with appreciation and respect regardless of their physical attributes.” No need because the first impression was enough.
When I walked into this coffee shop, I loved how Natalie asked “Is this your first time!” Because usually I walk into a place and tell them it’s my first time to get their recommendations. Natalie delivered me an awesome coffee and experience. She was kind enough to ask me my name, go over the menu , and provide me recommendations based of my likes and dietary needs. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced lol any coffee shop experience like that in my life. I got the Higher Groundz Mocha frozen and the most delicious red velvet cookie I’ve ever had in my life! If I could give this place 10 stars I would and best part it’s right across from my office. Probably just canceled my Starbucks rewards today😆 thank you Natalie for making me feel warm and welcome ! I will be back!!!
I love your vanilla latte and apricot bars. What I enjoy most is that everyone is so caring and friendly. Thank you, Marlina and Mark, for creating this community gathering place.
I recently started drinking coffee so I asked a bunch of questions and Cozy (not sure if spelling is correct) was very patient and helpful. She helped me select the perfect coffee. It was amazing. They have so many sugar free options. The space is perfect for meeting with friends or relaxing by yourself for a short break. Although it's in a church, no one was promoting church stuff so don't rule this out due to its location. I will be back here frequently.

My kids and I came here for the first time as part of a Dine-Out PTO fundraiser for Bridgeway. I cannot believe I didn't know about this place sooner. The Chai, Caramel Creme Frap and Hot Chocolate all tasted soo good (better than Starbucks). The young ladies working were extremely kind and very patient with my kids while they asked about every item on the menu. We cant wait to go back!

What a wonderful place! I was greeted by Marlina right away and she asked me my name, a few people walked in after me, and she knew each and every one of their names. That's pretty special. Definitely felt welcome! I will for sure be back. Thank you!!
