Stopped in for a quick bite with the family on our daughter's birthday I don't remember out waitress name but she was hands down the best service I have ever had she took it upon herself to bring a ice cream with a candle.so sweet thank you.you made our whole night 5 stars we will be returning.food was amazing also.

Sad part is this restaurant has been going down hill for a long time, especially in the quality. After Mr.Serra stepped back from the business his son took over. Although it seems like his son tries to run it like the father there is something seriously lacking. I don’t know if they struggle to make it financially (which I seriously doubt, they have done quite well. They own properties and other real estate. All the kids have houses helped paid for by the father.) Or it’s simply they really don’t care anymore about the business. The second generation has different priorities than the parents. It’s to be expected. It happens a lot and you see it all the time with second generation American children. They have a right to their own lives. But with that said, you can tell the cheese they use today for their pizzas is NOT the quality Provel they once used. It is a mixed blend and does not go down so easily and taste as good as the original. I know I got it on good information that they do not use the Good Original Provel anymore. They have cheapned a once incredible pizza made by Onofrio Serra. I have had problems also with their pasta dishes too. I ordered the pasta ravioli with meat sauce. The pasta tasted like it was way over cooked and rubbery and maybe even slightly old. I wish them the best but my days of eating at Serra’s is no more. The Old North St.Louis Pizzerias are almost no more.

Love this place . Good friend of mine introduced me to Serra's bout 2001 Darrell and his dad maintained the kitchen equipment . I went to assist on a piece of kitchen equipment and mr. Serra made us pizza and I have love it since . Everyone thinks imos is the best pizza in st.louis . Serras, perroni's , Angelo's , nick and Elenas, and faraci's and Joe boccardi's are all ( in my opinion ) far better pizza . And I hear Serra's building a bigger location in Maryland hgts mo

Had been a while since I last visited, but was immediately reminded of how cool this place is. Classic old-school neighborhood pizza joint. One of the best St. Louis style pies I've had, with toasted rav to start. Prices were great and the staff were awesome. Highly recommend!
