Entered the restaurant a little after 11pm, order placed at 11:17pm. Nobody in the joint but me. Waffle House lover, frequent business of mine. Waitress in love with FaceTime and Touch Tunes makes it seem more important than the person eating. I work retail, I get it, but man the blatancy of some people can blow anyone’s mind. FaceTime in your face after waiting a considerable amount of time to be acknowledged. I’m here for Waffle House now and forever, nothing will ever change...
I stopped in for the first time yesterday to waste some time before work and I really enjoyed myself. Good food, nice retro diner style environment, and lovely staff. I returned today and had the same experience and the relationship between the staff and the diners is very heart warming. See you all next time ❤️
The staff and food are great, but having an automated system tell me that Waffle House won't take my order over the phone was not only extremely off-putting, but stands to alienate a large portion of your customer base.
