Very limited options, especially if you're somewhat of a picky eater. Food quality varies, particularly at the pizza and pasta station. The pizza often irritates my bowels and has even made me physically sick once or twice. I've had similar issues with the eggs and other breakfast options. The burgers and fries station is probably one of the better stations, although it isn't always an option outside of lunch and early to mid dinner. The soft serve machine is out of order so often it makes the McDonald's ice cream machines look good in comparison. The dining area itself kinda sucks. Most of the tables are wobbly and uneven, cell service is very limited, and at certain times of day the custodians don't even try to keep the place clean. The bathrooms are generally not that great. They clean them in the mornings, and within a couple hours half the stalls are unusable because it looks like an explosion of poop, pee, and toilet paper. Most of the staff give off "I literally don't care about the slop I'm serving, I'm just here for the paycheck" vibes.

Overall, it's an ok place to occasionally grab a quick meal before (they don't open until 8 am now, so if you've got an 8am class, have fun being hungry or paying for groceries), in between, or after classes. That being said, if you're on a meal plan where this is your ONLY dining option, be prepared for digestive health issues which may impact your mental health over time.

Overall just awful. There is no variation in food and the one station that does switch around served slop most of the time. No seasonings, no flavor, no options. Honestly I only go because I have to have a meal plan living on campus.

The only time food is good is when people looking to send their kid to this college tour. Unless you go at lunch or dinner there wont be that much food available to eat. The food is pretty pitiful too. There is a pizza oven in the pizza and pasta section but that doesnt save a decent at best recipe. The pasta is served in metal pans where you put it on a plate yourself, the problem is that only the pasta at tbe bottom isnt dry, any pasta at the top of the uncovered pan is always dry and crunchy. It is advertised that it closes at 11pm but barely any stations are open late, it wasnt like this before spring break. Almost all stations were open and still making food until the advertised 11pm. When it gets late the only station worth going to is Sizzle, the burger and fries station. On weekends and now mondays for some reason you have to walk up and order fries or a burger and the 1 employee who mans the station will start making the food, the tv says its like this so the food is fresher and tastes better but I really think its just so the college can pay less people, after spring break ive seen less and less people working at a station.Between winter break I noticed a couple things moving, the frier at Sizzle was moved to the other side of the wall and to another station that mostly did brakfast stuff. There was no reason for this and now it takes longer for fries to be made because a worker must go into whatever storage room, get the fries, walk to a completely different station, walk back to Sizzle, and when the fries are done (which they have to keep track of in their minds because when its busy theres no way the cook is hearing the alarm from across the dining hall) walk to the other station and walk back to Sizzle carying a hot and heavy large pan of fries or whatever other fried thing they made. The desert section has a decent selection but most of it is something most college students wouldnt eat so a lot of food is wasted, the cookies they do get and are available everyday are obviously bought premade from someone and are ok tasting, after you've had 5 total you really dont want to eat them again. The brownies are really hit or miss, sometime they're really dry and almost crunchy and other times they're good.Because of all the decisions to change the dining hall for the worse less people eat their so it feels empty and creepy.Idotic decisions: at the start of the year there was construction to remove the mongolian grill and replace it witb something else, this contruction lasted atleast before I toured as a highschooler and ended a couple weeks before winter break. I would know what they changed it into but after a few weeks of operation construction started again (which took a long time) so they could change the space into a room with burners and pans where students cook meals themselves, I do not know if there is an oven but I assume not. A better way to do this would be similar to a convience store in certain east asian countries like Japan and Korea, when I went and toured as a highschooler my tour guide told me that they were putting in a snack and drink shop in the second floor, construction started to put up shelves and coolers for drinks then they were torn out and nothing replaced them.In conclusion, its very obvious that everything about the dining hall is an attempt on the college to save money. The wages arnt that impressive for a college with student numbers at an all time high too. Its depressing as a student that I pay all this money to attend and for a meal plan this terrible. I know before this Northwest had a contract with a different company that decided not to contiue it this year so they scrambled to find someone else but Its so obvious that corners are being cutAlso tip for anyone moving into the South Complex: don't move into the top floor. Building manegment waits too long to turn the AC on in the spring so you'll be hot all year round. In the winter I never even had our heater on, the window was always open, it was still too hot

The bearcat commons is nasty, food is almost always awful and now that Aramark has canceled the contract it is extremely limited. Bathrooms are nasty and 1st floor is almost always flooded. I'm paying thousands of dollars for what???

Vegetarian options: Not many

Wheelchair accessibility: Barely

They serve me either moldy or undercooked food at least once a week. It's become a norm now and it doesn't faze me anymore when I lift up my burger to find the underside to be covered in mold...

Food could be a little better, but Chick-fil-A is bomb

Great food with great selection

Truly remarkable. It would be simply impossible to name another dining established that trumps the quality, and skill required to prepare the dishes I partook in here. I truly must give chefs my full regards. The food assulted my taste buds with bursts of flavor that flooded my brain with dopamine. If it were possible to offer more than a mere 5 star, believe me I would. If you are at all on the fence about visiting this dining establishment, please visit, it will be more than worth you time.

Always a great experience. The cashier's are super friendly and always willing to chat and help in any way they can. Wide selection of food to choose from. I've heard many good things about their $6 Fridays, every other Friday for $6 anyone can go and eat as much as they want and stay as long as they want. Love the free WiFi available. Sometimes it's a little busy but most of the time it's a quick process. Lines are usually minimal and seating is never an issue. Highly recommend.

The food variety is low along with the quality. I would only eat here if you have a meal plan or free meal vouchers.

Not the best when you go every week.
