Great environment.. places like this are few and far between anymore... real food and polite down to earth conversations and people... will definitely be stopping more often...

Food was great and so was the service. I live in Spring Hill Kansas and have a farm in Nauvoo Illinois. Have been by your place so many times and couldn't stop because we had dogs with us. Last trip just me and son in-law so no dogs so got to enjoy your food.

The pork tenderloin I had was huge and delicious! My husband had the chicken fried steak, with mash potatoes, gravy, and baked beans. Everything seemed hand-breaded, not like frozen patties. The price was fair and the people were friendly.

Oh my goodness great place to eat. Food is excellent. If the place is full may be a little to get your food but SO WORTH THE WAIT.

Went to report on their Breaded Pork Tenderloins for a Facebook forum.. Everything was good. Could have been better. The bun was not heated and put a damper on the meal. The Tater Tots were very good.

We waited 10 minutes at a table at 930 on a Sunday. No one came to give us a menu, so we left. Understaffed.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, as I have driven past it several times and the food reviews were good. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend the Eagles Nest Cafe. I gave it a one star, only because zero stars was not an option. Never got to try the food. We stopped in and were told to have a seat and someone would be right with us. Almost 15 minutes later, we still hadn't been given a menu or offered beverages, let alone ordered food, so we left. I don't know if they were under staffed, under experienced, or just didn't care. Whatever it was, I won't be giving it a second chance. I tend to be a very loyal patron and a very good tipper to establishments with good food and good service. This isn't one of those places.

Great little spot just off Hwy 36. Great food and dessert, with a very homey feel to it. I highly recommend the butter pecan cheesecake!

I had chicken fried steak and tater tots and it was excellent. He had breaded tenderloin sandwich that stuck way outside the bun and it was very good. Took his chocolate pie to go. It’s just a plain roadside cafe. There was room to park our rv.
