Huge shout out to the staff at Stacey’s Place for our first dining experience today! We had four adults and 3-10 month olds with us. They made sure we had the best time! Great service! Our food came quickly! But let’s talk about the quality of food. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We had the catfish dinner specials, open faced roast beef and a chicken fried steak special. All of which were reasonably priced and top tier taste! 100/10 recommend this place to anyone who stops in Mexico to grab a bite to eat. Oh and the pie is to die for! We brought home a slice of apple, chocolate meringue and the peanut butter whipped pie…seriously order the pie.

This one of our favorite stops back and forth to Illinois! Service is always 5 stars, girls always greet you with a smile on their faces and the menu is top notch! I’ve yet to complain about any food yet! Oh..and don’t forget to save room for some pie! They are all delicious! Kudos to Stacey’s staff!

We had a party of 17. We called 35 minutes before hand and said we would sit on the patio and they said they would have it ready for us. We arrived and none of the tables and chair were set up, we ended up having to do it ourselves. There was food forgotten, food put in incorrectly and food cooked poorly. It was seriously one thing after another. My 6 year old didn’t get to eat until everyone else was done eating, along with 2 other people. The server was nice but the food and waiting ruined the whole experience. We were there for 2 and a half hours. I would not recommend for a large group.
