Burger Shack saved the day. My family and I just left the Hangar Cafe, with a 3 and 11 yr old, starving, looking for a place to eat, after waiting an hour for a grilled cheese and three burgers. We ordered the same thing at the Burger Shack and got it in less than 15 minutes. The burgers were classic home-style burgers all the way. Delicious!!

It was just another small town burger joint. Persaonally, I thought it was a greasy joint. The serving size was large and well cooked. I don't eat fried foods like this typically. It wasn't as clean as I thought it would or she be.

Very greasy. Burgers & okra were good but fries were so burnt they weren't edible. Resturant was clean but filled with smoke from the fryer - We all left smelling like grease.

Once again the Hillbilly and co-worker was out and about in Lawrence County, so we planned our day around a trip to The Burger Shack in Miller, MO. Oh man, did we choose well! I had a Double Hamburger with Seasoned Curly Fries. My co-worker had the Pork Tenderloin sandwich and Seasoned Curly Fries. My burger was great. And as the picture shows, that Pork Tenderloin Sandwich was HUGE! The Burger Shack is a perfect example of a small town burger joint. Miller is VERY lucky to have one this great. Do yourself a favor and plan a trip there. It was worth it for us!

Don't miss this hidden gem! We stopped in for lunch during our Route 66 road trip. It doesn't look like much from the road, but man was the food amazing! Three of us had burgers and each was made to order. One of us had the fried chicken sandwich and it was exceptional! The highest rave came over the tenderloin. It was perfectly fried...crispy yet juicy. Even the sides were fabulous. The fresh cut fries, seasoned curly fries and tater tots were all fried to a beautiful golden brown, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And Anthony was very kind and attentive. If only we didn’t live two states away...we would definitely be back!!
We gave them a try today, had burgers and fries. Hand made and toasted buns were excellent. We will be back
