Everything seemed great. The lady was kind. But I picked up my cake and it was taped up in a box half open and half shut because the cake was taller than the box. So I couldn't get a good look at the cake before paying for it. Idk why they didn't just use a larger box but okay. I got it home and I was so disappointed. It looked terrible. Like really bad. It was supposed to have melted chocolate running down the sides but they just used regular cake icing and it DID NOT work. It was also patchy like they struggled to put it in the box. But I was hoping it still tasted phenomenal. It didn't. The chocolate layer was overcooked and dry and it just was not good overall.I did not bring this to management's attention because I ended up letting my kids smash their faces into it instead and they enjoyed that. But I will not be ordering from there again.They came highly recommended by some, but if you can't put out a consistent product, then I won't risk wasting my money.

My grandson chose a challenging birthday cake design for his 6th birthday. Two Columbia bakeries told me it couldn’t be done and, frankly, made me feel a little foolish for asking. Dot’s and Marcey made a perfect, beautiful, and delicious cake! And, at a reasonable price. They are true artists.

Hey, all you Moberly neighbors! If it were at all possible, I would give a review of -5! This is a little bitty bakery that has no variety! I went there and they had NOTHING! The only cookies I saw were sugar cookies! I saw 1 cherry pie and a wedding cake on display! I saw some sandwiches, soup containers and crackers. No chocolate cakes, chocolate chip cookies, glazed donuts, oatmeal cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies nothing except sugar cookies! The cookies are TASTELESS! The only sweetness was from the frosting which was pilled on! This is a horrible excuse of a bakery!

The first few times I got cookies from Dot’s bakery they were great, moist, and nicely decorated. The last few times I’ve gotten cookies from there they have been just barely iced, dried out when I go to get them out of the container for the first time, and look slightly like they were rushed. I want to like the cookies because I think they’re fun and nice alternative to other treats. Just been disappointed and hate that I spent the money on them and they were dried out. I have even recommended them to friends and family and I hate I served them dried out cookies.
Dots is a great bakery. I’m always well taken care of there and treated well. I have bought hundreds of cookies and donuts from them over the past few months as I’ve been giving out goodies around town introducing myself to people and promoting my new business. People are always excited when they see her label on the treats I bring them.

Month before the wedding of my $430 cake order I call to ask a bunch of questions to make sure all the details of pick up, pay, ext was planned out. The owner then calls me back and tells me it’s suspicious that I asked to see the cake before I paid for it that she won’t be making my cake bc that’s suspicious. That I’m just going to automatically look at it and say ok I need a discount. So rude the way she called me back and practically accused me of wanting to pay less for an expensive cake. Duh I know it’s expensive I wasn’t asking for a discount. I asked if u do discounts if problems arise. Judge mental and rude. I’ll never go back.
