“Traveling in northern Missouri in January is bitter cold especially traveling with a construction crew working with concrete & asphalt. Staying in hotels and trying to find good places to eat is a challenge; but this time around staying at the Super 8 Hotel was short walk across the parking lot. I’ve always loved eating at cafe’s & diner’s they’re always a great spot to eat and Funny Pages Cafe is no different. The food was great, service was great, and the restaurant has a classic cartoon theme. The food is great because it’s home style cooking (my favorite) and you’re given big portions so you’ll be nice and full at the end. The service was great because the all the servers swing by my table to check up on me and made sure everything was good and to make sure my coffee cup was always full. The cafe has a classic cartoon theme that makes it different from other places. While was eating I seen (Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Garfield, White Spy vs Black Spy, and Pink Panther) and many more. All in all this cafe is a great spot to eat and it won’t leave a hole in wallet; if you’re traveling in the area you should swing by for a hot meal.“
