Karma's Kafe seemed true to it's name. Our 1st visit (but I'm sure it won't be the last). Days later, I'm still wondering if it partly gimmick - because you don't necessarily get what you order (you get what you're served!) I ordered the country fried steak meal. It states on the menu it is served with soup or salad. I chose soup. Our waitress even told me the flavor was beef vegetable (I wouldn't know because it never came out to the table). I chose brown gravy (the other choice was white gravy). The waitress took note. The cook came out, to double check what I had chosen for gravy. I once again say "brown gravy", the cook takes note. My plate comes out covered in white gravy. The food was very good. I don't complain and I don't send plates back. I do however, write honest reviews. While we were halfway through our meal - the waitress brought 2 salads to us .... Neither of us ordered salads. She did realize her mistake, turning around and giving the salads to the next table. At the end of our delicious lunches, the waitress stops by our table once more. She asks if I'd like my water refilled. I say "No, thank you". 15 seconds later she returns with a water pitcher, filling up my glass to the top.
Karma's Kafe - you can order anything you like but you're getting what they think you deserve. Thanks for the fun lunch stop!

Excellent breakfast! The service and food was top notch. Be prepared, as during peak times this place can get busy.
The establishment was clean and roomy.
We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Very clean, fast and friendly service. Food was good but I detected a cooking oil taste to my food . Wasn't a bad taste just different. Would eat here again May have been my taste buds, lol!
The service was good, very friendly people. Specially, the blonde gal with the tattoos. But I had the ribeye and two eggs for breakfast and it came with hashbrowns and I also got a coffee. I’ve never seen a ribeye flat before, it was maybe a quarter of an inch thick. Way too much garlic and definitely not cooked right. I ordered it rare as does any real steak eater and you can tell that it was frozen before I got it, it definitely wasn’t fresh and it definitely wasn’t a ribeye. It tasted bad and I am not a picky eater at all. The eggs were good, the hashbrowns were stale. It tasted like french fries that have been sitting out for a couple hours and reheated, you know that stale texture. They need to simplify their menu. They have so many options and stuff and a cook can only be good at cooking certain things. Great people I just think the food is bad

We will come back and try dinner, breakfast was okay. Our young waitress was friendly and professional. She gave us time to order and when we were ready she came right over. I liked that she repeated our order back to us to confirm. When she brought it out I got white instead of wheat toast (not a big deal) I know she didn't screw it up because she repeated my order back to me. Most of the potatoes looked raw, but they had been cooked, some were even burned. I took them home to re-cook. Otherwise food was good. No waiting, hostess sat us down quickly. I would go back and eat there again. Small town atmosphere and watched food network while eating. I bet the more you go the better it gets.
Parking: Plenty of parking and free. Spaces were big enough for our RAM 2500.
Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu.

What a great spot for breakfast! Big portions, tasty food, and excellent value. I love the skillets but don't pass on the other items. Especially the western omelet!

Had one of their highlighted skillets on the menu and it's probably one of the best skillets I think I've ever had. Very nice place and the staff was awesome.Excellent size portions for the price. I couldn't eat it all. :)If I'm back in town I will definitely eat here again.

I got the country skillet. It was actually quite good. Hashbrowns were a little too done on the bottom and had burned together. Pancakes were small and syrup seemed more natural. Upgrades to sides cost almost as much as buying the extra side (so not worth upgrading). Booths were comfortable and nice. Colors are a bit drab and no real theme or decor. Seemed busy and customers were happy. Servers didn't seem to know what they were doing or were confused though. Mine did not seem to know the menu well. I did see a sign they were hiring servers, so maybe new people. The servers did congregate in a booth in the dining hall and watched their tables which seemed strange and a little unprofessional. You could tell the seasoned servers as they would even stop at other tables if they saw someone needed something. Overall, I'd go back and try lunch.

Since original owners moved to Macon everything has suffered horribly. My husband ordered a turkey manhattan with a salad and asked for lean meat. Workers were more worried about the family they had in there and the cook was more worried about take out orders and not the people at the tables OTHER than the friends and family there. Salad was “forgotten” about and the food came out cold. Also, cook thought ticket said no mashed potatoes. Didn’t bother to ask for verification. So all my husband got was 1 slice of bread, a bit of meat and gravy, all ice cold. When all that was brought to the “waitresses” attention she said it wasn’t their fault. Didn’t offer any price reduction, didn’t offer to remake it, nothing. NEVER GOING BACK!!!
