The Italian panini I had was delicious. I would prefer to see more veggies on mine in the future; perhaps there is an option to add more ingredients at an additional cost.
The scone was very moist and their sugar cookie was very nice as well!
The chai latte was tasty. I really enjoyed the blend they used. The espresso was not bad either.
Overall, I found this place quite enjoyable. It's cozy, warm, inviting, and kid friendly. Plus, their mission is powerful.
I do think item descriptions on the menu could be beneficial to the customers.

We stopped in to eat today and left with full bellies ready to come back! I had to ask her about her toast because it was different… in a delicious crunchy fluffy thick toast kind of different 😮💨 I ordered the veggie and meat omelet with ALL the veggies. This thing was packed full of veggies and perfect pepper jack cheese in the middle! We will be back soon!

Currently doing a wedding where they catered. The food was amazing. Hot not over cooked. I’m a DJ so I’ve been to a lot of wedding but if your not using Root 242 then your missing out!
Also did you know they are a non profit? What could make them any better? 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Had the pleasure of working there for a few hours while in town. I just need a place. If you travel a ton with work, you know what I mean. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. Super great family type atmosphere. There was plenty of staff to help out. Great spot!
