Lai Lai Asian Buffet and Dining

We absolutely adore this restaurant gem. We just got take away service and everything was sooo good. I love the soups at the restaurant, especially the spicy beef vegetable soup. It really hits the spot! Tonight I got the sushi roll and they have so many choices. The Lai Lai sushi roll. It was terrific with a kick. My husband got the cashew chicken and they provided extra sauce. The milky shrimp is a very special item available during their evening service. Usually, we come in during the lunch buffet. There are plenty of good choices with a special salad bar and good desserts alongside. They also have an ice cream machine, which is a bonus bonus to us. The decor is tasteful and well done. The bathrooms are always clean and kept well. The staff is a attentive and personable. We have eaten here quite a few times now and have never been disappointed. The price is affordable. Give it a try! It's one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in the area including Springfield.Hats off the management and staff. And no, we are not related to anyone there. Ha!

My mom and I was surprised how cozy and inviting this place was ( more like a nice restaurant setting) The variety of food was basic but very fresh and a good taste, Natalie- was taking care of our table. She was very attentive, always had a smile, and made sure that our table was cleaned up right after we had some empty plates. We will definitely come back.

Drove here from Springfield on a recommendation. Husband and I were craving a classic American Chinese buffet, but have been disappointed by local options. Solid cashew chicken, crab rangoons, and various other selections. The only thing I didn't like was the claustrophobic dining room. We were seated at a round booth, and they had chairs at the end as well. The chairs were annoying to have to push out of the way, and are probably a violation of fire codes. Overall, Lai Lai is definitely better than any of the Chinese buffets in Springfield and worth the drive to quelch an intense Americanized Chinese food craving.

This is one of the best Chinese places we've been to and definitely the best buffet. Everything was hot and fresh, the service was outstanding- especially for a buffet, and the price was reasonable. The chicken was all white meat! We will definitely be back!

This food was NOT good. It tasted so cold and old. Not worth the money.

Food is kept full and hit and fresh. Seating is spaced well. Just missed a few veggie options! Salad bar wasn't very large either.
