This place not only has some great food but an amazing staff that treats you more like family than just a customer.
server was great, food was fantastic, came out quick, got to meet the owner, awesome man, I'm going back!!!!
Waiter was awesome. Really cool guy. Food was very good. Loved it
Food is great. Had my first soft shell crab. Well worth the drive from Bentonville.
We drive from Springfield and it is totally worth it! Great food, awesome atmosphere, the owner is super nice and down to earth. They pull you in and make you feel like family, it's just the southern way! I tell people about your place ALL the time, I just love it!!!!
Very good food especially for the price. The staff was very friendly and my cup never got below 1/2 way. I've been several times always the same result friendly.
Love it. Hubby has worked near New Orleans and this is authentic!
The Bayou is an awesome restaruant. The steaks are the best I've ever had. The crawfish boils are awesome. The alagater is cooked perfectly not chewy. Their mango margarita is the bomb. The service was good for as busy as it was.
Fresh Seafood is the best of any other place we've tried in this state. The staff are so personable. We will be back in a few weeks.
As always, one of our family's favorite place to eat. We would normally have Lance as one of our waiters. His accent, his charm, his description of some of the food, in particular "The Lance Burger" which is off the charts dee-lish! Lance sadly passed away and this was our first time back since his death. Saturday evening, about 7 p.m. and the joint was packed. My wife and I went off our normal go-to "Lance Burger" and got the Seafood Barge with sweet potato fries. Our daughter got the Gumbo, and our son ordered the French Fry Po-boy. Appetizers were calimari and the fried alligator. Along with tea (sweet and not sweet), water, and root beer, everything was fantastic. Service, as always, was spot on, even though we definitely missed Lance. Prices were more than reasonable with a bit of leftovers. The desert ~ we love the Southern Comfort Custard Pie and it never disappoints. Not only do we recommend "The Bayou", but do try "The Lance Burger" should one not want the Cajon or seafood side. It's not on the menu, a special order which it's worth the multiple meat patties stacked with the other ingredients. Your waiter or hostess can give you the run down and be prepared to eat a lot. Thanks to The Bayou for always providing great food. Guy Fieri should feature this joint on Triple D!

Best, moistest, most flavorful cornbread ever. Blackened pork chops were tied for best pork chop too.

My husband went in for his favorite catfish basket in the world. And loved it with a great jack and coke drink! We love the Bayou!
