I would love to give a huge shout out to AJ’s Grindstone Restaurant & Bar. James let me and my wife have our wedding reception there Saturday night, it couldn't have gone better every thing was perfect Angie had a smile all night and was very friendly. I cant say enough about james he helped us so much and really made us feel welcome cared about and loved. This family owned business really allowed us to have a amazing reception and night. We're very blessed and grateful. Thank you guys so much for everything ❤️

Beer so cold my glass was slushy on the outside.Loaded tots, phenomenal. I don't even want to brush my teeth because the flavor is so good afterwards!Service was great, lovely conversation with our host/server/bartender, Paige.Atmosphere was homey, chill, comfortable, clean, welcoming.The one guy smoking in the bar wasn't our favorite but whatever, we didn't die. If you die from one cigarette, maybe stick to Denny's in St Louis, though the AJ's dining room is non-smoking. More seating in the bar, so we sat there for realistic atmosphere.Highly recommend if you're passing through the area. We'll probably come back next time we're on a road trip.

no this place is a joke id never patronize this place again beware they are rude and food is horriable!!!

Excellent place for lunch or dinner. I keep going back and never had any kind of bad service. Perfect place for the family or by yourself.

Food was typical and ok. It’s a handy restaurant to have in town. It was very cold in there, not sure the heater was working quite right. The waitress was great. My son loved the chicken nuggets shaped like animals.

Service was unbelievable. Probably over 8 different people served the 2 of us. Salad was awesome. Prime rib was very good. My wife said lobster tail was great. Staff were very friendly.

We were camping and wanted an easy place for dinner Friday evening. There's a restaurant in front and a bar in the rear.Everyone's food was great. Service was personable and she got a nice tip from all three couples.

Great food. Wings - Toasted Raves - Cheeseburger

Had lunch there today and the young lady serving us was on top of everything, as well as the cook. food was amazing and better than another joint thats up that way. We will definitely be returning before this job is done.

Went there for lunch and that had to be the best mushroom swiss burger i ever had. My God the beef patty was super thick and cooked perfectly. My Dad had the special which was a grilled pork tenderloin with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. I had a taste of this amazing piece of meat and it Was fabulous. Mashed potatoes were also yummy. Both meats were juicy and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent as well. She was a happy person. We will be back.

This restaurant is now called The Pear Tree Restaurant. Stopped here on the way to Omaha. Upscale atmosphere. Homemade dressings. They brought hot croutons with the dinner salad. They are known for their onion rings but I don’t eat fried food. Some of the fried entrees and platters are served on a bed of shoe string French fries and you get additional 2 sides. This would be a great date place.

Ordered pulled pork nachos and wow. The flavor is amazing!

Had dinner as a table of 10 with a reservation. Arrived early and had no issue being seated and servers promptly. Cocktails were all refreshing, portobello app and crab Rangoons were served super fast and yummy - sauces were amazing! Service lapsed for a bit in between salads and entrees but we were checked on consistently. All 10 were pleased with their choices and would try again. Definitely a hidden gem for the area and you would never guess from the outside.
