Used to be a good place. Prices were good and the food was good. Its overpriced crap now and the food quality isnt very good. My girlfriends reuben was just roast beef on bread with sauerkraut and dressing. Didn't even have the decency to use real corned beef. My hashbrowns were undercooked and seemed soggy even after asking for extra crispy to make sure they are cooked. The wait staff is fantastic and they did their job well and I know its not their fault the food quality is terrible.

We ordered a meal with the Mac and cheese; got the order and it wasn’t there! We were already home, & didn’t go back that time. The Second time we ordered the meal with Mac and cheese, we got the meal, and again there was NO Mac and cheese!!! This time we checked our bags before leaving - NO mac and cheese!!! We went back in, & the teenager giggled; “yeah, we are out”, after just sending us out without saying anything. So, we were new to town, & decided to try again; We called this time!!! We ((ASKED)) if there was mac and cheese, and were told YES! She said just a sec; CHECKED and the confirmed that there was indeed max and cheese. SO… we ordered the Mac and cheese…. We got our order went out to the car and there was NO MAC AND CHEESE!!!! We were truly taken back!!! We went in, & said - “we do not have the Mac and cheese!? She said “yeah, we are out”!!!? I said - BUT WE JUST CALLED & ASKED BEFORE ORDERING!!! The Teenager behind the counter said “ OH YEAH - I remember - sorry I don’t know what happened!? all confused like. Needless to say; We never went back.

The fried chicken and mashed potatoes are my favorite, remind me of Grandma's cooking.
This is a cozy restaurant with a friendly family vibe.

I just moved to Troy, Missouri and found this corner restaurant. The menu is very extensive, prices are reasonable and service is great. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast runs untill 1:00pm and they also have kids and senior menu items. They also have a buffet on friday. I will definitely return to try that out!
