Great little place on the Carthage square. Burgers were great. The menu is not your everyday items, so a neat upgrade of different flavors. The employees were very nice. Smaller seating area but you can also sit next door at the Indian Springs Brewing Co. The jalapeno wontons were very good too. Something new we hadn't seen before.

As soon as we walked in I heard the music.. very cool, Taking Back Sunday, BMTH, ADTR! And it was loud enough I was surprised to see many elderly people enjoying themselves at their tables. The person who greeted us had a laid back personality, very easy going, local as well, we actually knew some of the same people. I ordered the black bean and cheese quesadilla and added chicken for 2 dollars extra (making it $10) it was THE BEST quesadilla I have had anywhere. They served it with this creamy chipotle ranch dip and it was unbelievable. I have actually been DREAMING of that quesadilla since going! 10/10. Only downside was the very limited seating inside. I thought to myself adding a couple 2-person tables would be a great idea ?

The best date place my husband and I have found in Neosho. Their PB&J burger is absolutely amazing and their kimchi fries are unreal good. We also got a dad's plate, which was excellent and so much fun! A bit of a warning though, when they say hot, they mean HOT ? (but still delicious!)

First time at the Briar & Thistle. You will not be disappointed! I got The Dad, it was a delicious pork chimichanga. Highly recommend if you are in the Neosho/Joplin area.

Food was pretty mid and kind of pricey for what it is. Nice that it's attached to a bar where you can take your food and order drinks. The bartender in there by the way was excellent. They noticed I didnt like the beer I ordered and offered me anything on the menu on the house without me saying a word. Really feels like they care, just wish the food menu had more thought put into it.
