I got the nacho salad. I'm so surprised this place has so many positive reviews. My plate was spring mix with beans and a little cheese with a few chips thrown in. Anybody could have made this...it didn't taste bad but there was very little food and it just wasnt creative in anyway. Innovative kitchen? Not so much. It wasnt like a loaded noches or anything....just a small plate of greens with some beans and cheese...that's it ..and for 13 dollars! You have got to be kidding me!

The employee was so ride we left without eating so I can't comment on the food. The menu looked good, trying their food wasn't worth dealing the the rude young man at the counter unfortunately. The Farmstead was delicious and friendly!

This place has never not completely hit - but tonight, that Bahn Mi Salad changed my life. My main issue with this restaurant is I always want to try something new but I'm always pulled toward those delicious flavors I had the time before. Actually, don't come here. It's an addiction, not a restaurant.

I really wish these guys would have stuck to the local beef. Because the Cisco beef that they cook now they cook it so overdone that you can't even like there's no taste to it really and the local beef when they overcooked their local beef at least I had some flavor to it but I don't know why I know it's some health law or something but like you don't have to cook it so it's a mothball texture with shoe rubber all I want is a juicy delicious burger that isn't so hard to swallow I can't find one in this town for some reason maybe one day people will use milk in their burger and when you put milk in your burger it's actually juicy no matter how much you cook

it was good, but nothing extraordinary. the fries were pretty oily, and they gave me a headache after i ate like 1/8 of them, but the fries tasted good nonetheless. the chicken sandwich was just okay, nothing fantastic (to me). my parents thought it was pretty good and would go back. the guy working had really good customer service skills. we waited like 15-20 minutes for our food.
You want some really good food at a good price come here to briar and thistle they are pleasant and polite the atmosphere is very like being at home

Briar and Thistle has amazing food and amazing people! The owner and her family were so kind and welcoming. I had the Nashville Chicken Fries and they were fantastic! Very flavorful and a very generous portion---I ordered the small plate and still couldn't finish all of it, lol. I absolutely would recommend Briar and Thistle to anyone looking for a lovely, family-friendly local restaurant 💜
