Located just off the Neosho square, Charley's is a place that only locals visit. My wife and I arrived at 12:45 on a Friday afternoon. It took 45 minutes to get our food, but it was worth the wait. The hamburger and onion rings were as good as it gets. The spaghetti red was good, too. Only two people were working--the cook and a waitress. The waitress explained that our long wait was due to there being limited space on the grill. It also took a long time to get our check,...
We had a large party and i asked if they would be able to accommodate us. The gentleman that helped me asked the gentleman at the long table if he would be willing to move so we would have room and he did with no hesitation. Very nice of both of them.
Stopped by for lunch and they had a rush going on. So although food did take a bit of time, it still came out hot and fresh. I had the double smashed burger with fries. When I tell you that this is one of the best burgers I've eaten in a while, it really was super good and finished my plate. Def gonna go back and try others too.
