Horrible. I got the brisket and my Husband got the steak, my brisket was as dry as the Sahara desert and his steak was poorly cooked, filled with grisle. Hubs ended up getting up and leaving because he didn’t feel good prior to finishing his meal & left his card with me. As I’m getting up to pay I look out the window and I kid you not, he didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before throwing his whole meal up. Prior to his incident, the food was so bad we thought about talking to a manger but I’m big on cutting people slack and trying my best to be kind but we just couldn’t let it slide. Asked for a refund and they told us they couldn’t give us one because the manger wasn’t there and they weren’t sure when said manger would get back. Keep in mind, we are 3 hours from home and I am also on the way home while having bubble guts. We left without our money and our stomachs empty. 10/10 would NOT Recommend.
Enjoyed chicken tenders and another in my party enjoyed the fish!! Very good service and kind waitresses/hostesses!
We were just passing thru. My wife and I love barbecue. The food was delicious! The staff was so helpful! We definitely will be back!!!!
It was my first eating here. Had the burnt ends, they were good. Excited to go back and try other options.
The last beef barbecue sandwich was more like shaved deli, meat, barbecue sandwich. It was not very appealing. The tater salad was horrible. I will not be back ever again Waitress was friendly it slow to get back-and-forth I hear the current cake is good, but I didn't want to take my chances No flies. If the barbecue is good, there is flies If The flies won't eat it then you shouldn't either
We absolutely love the food at this restaurant. We drive 45 miles on way just to eat here.
Eat there a lot, have for years. Great food and nice dining experience for 1, 2 or 40!!!
Avoid this place like the plague. Probably the worst barbecue in history. If you can even call this barbecue the brisket. Was so tough. You could have play tug-of-war with it.And it's still not pulled apart. The Turkey so dry.The serengeti desert Is more moist. Their baked potato was hard inside and not all the way cooked. For some secret family recipe this favorithis family should keep it segreat, as it's a disgrace to all Mankind. I would have rather. Wasted $70 giving booze to a homeless person. Then eat here again from there. Freezing coldbatman sphere 2 to a 30 minute wait. After I had ordered my food, it's barbecue that stuff's already coowe thought they had to go out and butcher the cow. Turns out they had to waste the cow. Service was good though, waitress was polite and understanding. But I will never be back and could never fathom. Anyone actually eating this garbage? Eating this garbage. Garbage would have been a better choice.
Trucker from Georgia passing thru. That was some of the best barbecue I’ve had in a long time.Staff and service was great.

Good food but a little pricey.
Follow up 5 years later. 40.00 for two people at lunch time. Small portions, food was cold and tough. The bread was dry. We both had burnt ends but it wasn’t burnt ends it was brisket.Poor wait service. The old crippled lady at the front who seats you had zero personality. Definitely a very poor experience.

The best meat I have eaten in Missouri, really excellent flavor without much seasoning, you can enjoy the meat and the flavor of the grill, the German chocolate cheesecake dessert is a delight, highly recommended place

Hands down the worst burnt ends and brisket I have ever eaten (well I didn't finish it so I didn't eat all of it). The meat was inedible. The burnt ends were not even burnt ends. They were just cut up pieces of brisket. The brisket was cooked so long it was dry and chewy and disgusting. The sweet potato fries and okra were okay and got me by for lunch but it would have been great to be able to eat BBQ at a place with BBQ in the name. Also the front desk lady was talking about some strange stuff in front of tables to other employees that seemed like it should have been discussed not in front of patrons. I tried to order half brisket and half burnt ends and they wouldn't allow that. I ended up having to get a two meat entree with put more gas on the fire seeing how the burnt ends were not even burnt ends. What a horrible experience. I will never return.

We do not recommend this place. First thing you see when you walk in is a large sign stating there is a 3% fee for using a credit card. Hostess was not very cordial when seating is. I didn't get better with our waitress. Cheeseburger was over cooked and dry, baked potato came with sour cream when it was specifically ordered with butter only. Brisket did have a good flavor, but it was dry, overcooked and very tough. I would have asked for a steak knife to cut it, but our waitress didn't return to check on us until she brought our check. We considered paying cash because of the fee for credit card and wish now that we would have. Our credit card was never returned to us. When we asked our waitress to bring it back she told us that she didn't have it. Her and her manager did look for it but it never appeared. The waitress did let it slip that this has happened before, meaning that credit cards have been lost before. We left our name and phone number for them to call if they found it but have not heard a word. It is no wonder, because they acted like they didn't care if they found the card. On our way home, we contacted the credit card company and reported it stolen/lost and requested it be replaced with a new account number and freeze any future charges on the old number. The prices where exhorbant for the quality/quantity that we received. Needless to say we will not return and don't recommend this establishment. If you do go, pay with cash as a credit card may not be returned.
