I shop here pretty regularly and I am happy sometimes and plain shocked others. Two of my recent visits have me questioning shopping there more. The first visit I went to the front with an item marked $2 and marked $6. They said the $2 price was not theirs and from a different place. They said it would be $6 and I pointed out how bad it looked that they were marking up their prices so much compared to its other tag and they didn’t seem to care. Needless to say I didn’t purchase the item. The second time was today and I went to checkout with a set of book ends. One of the book ends was marked $4 so I assumed the set was $4. When I checked out they charged me $4 per bookend (even though only one was marked and bookends are sold as a set) they told me it wasn’t marked but they are sold separate. Such a bizarre concept to sell bookends as separates and to not mark it as such. It’s a very frustrating place to shop when prices are inconsistent.

Well stocked, a lot to see, but high prices for thrift store.

The store itself was moderately clean, and there was some organization to the clothing, which is where I spent most of my time. The selection was decent, however the prices are very high compared to other thrift stores in the area. On top of that, you’re not allowed to try anything on and all sales are final so you can’t even return for store credit. I’ve never seen another store require the customer to take on that level of risk to shop there.

Stopped at the ca thrift store like we do most weekends and was met by the rudest person ever.. She was working behind the counter... .
We enjoy going there cuz we thought it was a Christian store. Apparently Christians don't work there because this lady was just playing right mean.

Really cool thrift store that feels like a treasure hunt. This place is quite large and I liked how inside everything is divided into neat little sections. There is a lot to look through when it comes to home goods and decor. We didn't look through the clothes or books too much. There is probably something here for everyone.

Edit: They did hold true to their word and they also apologized. So changing my review bc that means a lot.

I didn't want to have to make this post because I initially loved this business, I spend A LOT of money in there. The employees all know me bc I'm in there so much. 2 days ago I was at the CA thrift here in Nixa and I was over charged for shirts I purchased by 6.00 and I realized on my receipt and I went back in. I know they do not do returns, I've been shopping here since I moved to Nixa in 2020. I was just wanting reconciliation or maybe store credit. I went back in and the manager John was really rude and didnt say sorry or anything. He said " You've done this before" several times... as if i was trying to cheat the company. It was his employee that made the mistake and he couldnt even apoligize. He told me he would add points to my account for me, that has not been done. So he wasnt only rude, he didnt honor his word. This has not been my first problem with them and my points not being taken correctly. For those who do not know, they use a points system. Every dollar spent is 1 point. Like I said, I spend more money than I should in there and I have had on 2 separate occasions, they take my points but they charge me full price. Well I called the owner Larry today because I thought maybe he would be better... He was worse. He said " Well there isn't anything we can do, you just made an extra donation to the Christian ministry. So they stole my 6.00. No one is trying to reconcile the situation. He actually HUNG UP on me when I asked " So if you were at Walmart and they over charged you, you wouldn't want that back?" He hung up on me. So this place is just taking people's money and not appreciative of the loyal customers they have. It's so sad bc it was my favorite thrift store. And before someone says " It's only 6.00..." it's not. It's the other two times as well they over charged. It's the principle. So my point in posting, pay attention if you shop there to your points and how things are rung up. All the employees that work there are so kind. Sad that their higher ups, aren't.

A breath of fresh air. A thrift store that charges thrift store prices. Great store. I'm greatfull. If you're going to donate these guys help folks out. Donate here before the likes of goodwill or redrack.

A little something for everyone. Super friendly employees, they always let you know what currently is on special sale.

Decently priced for clothing. Be prepared to know exactly what you think will fit. They don't have fitting rooms, and they don't take returns. So there's that, but they have a rewards that's kind of neat if you intend to go often.

Wife found some books and stuff. She has wanted to check it out but we are usually busy when we pass the store so today we decided we weren't busy so we would check it out.
