We had been here before. But it had been awhile. My baked potatoe was cold the cheese did not melt. The employees were nice but never came to see if we needed anything else. To me the food needs more smoked barbecue flavor. It was like it is shipped in frozen and heated up to sell. You don't smell the smoked meat cooking as you are there. It lacked the luster of the authentic barbecue. The atmosphere was off the music was not what I am use to hearing in a barbecue restaurant....
This place is freaking amazing. Dickey's and cracker barrel are the first restaurants I look for when we get to a city. I got a two meat plate last night and it was even better than I remember. The pork and brisket were so tender and flavorful, and the Mac n Cheese and baked beans were the freshest and best tasting than the other locations I've eaten at. This place just keeps getting better and better every single time I order it.
