We have been eating here for many years. 8+ years now. Service and food has been great, up until the last couple years. The most recent visit we were told they were out of cheese dip, and then watch two tables recieve cheese dip. Not sure what was up with that. The food was not good at all this time. It was also the longest we have ever waited for food.
We ate here a few times the last few months. Food just hasnt been what it once was. Unfortunate to see a good restaurant go downhill.

Chips were stale. I asked for another batch. Were still stale. Server not attentive to us. Wouldn't check on our drinks. Prices were high for just a simple meal. I'm done with this place.

I booked El Charro to cater my daughter's quinceanera because she loves their food. They were reasonably priced for the quality of food, prompt with delivery and pickup, and overall we're just really friendly and wonderful people to work with. I definitely recommend them!

El Charro is the real deal for authentic modern Mexican. It's easy to spot authenticity in the Ozarks because it stands out against the ordinary by offering genuine recipes, in this case from central Mexico ??, Guanajato. Look it up! I was especially impressed with their refried bean dish. They are nice surprise. Can you say Birria? El Charro can. I needed more reasons to visit Nixa, now I have one more. Great job guys.

Just had lunch today, my first visit. Wonderful place. Very tasty tacos, nice service, great nacho chips, good atmosphere.
The tacos were cooked well, I had flashbacks to Duran, Mexico.
I'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious. My boyfriend got the Super Burrito which was delicious. I got the Burrito Cancun. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and the added pineapple made it taste so good. The burritos were absolutely huge. So worth the money. The chips were fresh and the salsa was so good. All the staff spoke fluent Spanish and the atmosphere was amazing. I can't wait to go back. Everyone was so friendly. I definitely highly recommend this place.
