I ordered a beef quesallia it was all beans soggy shell the waiter asked me if we where brothers I am female I told him no he's my boyfriend then asked us how long we where boyfriends very insulting and very taken back my the whole experience

I only went to Brothers Tacos a couple of times, I was not impressed. I grew up by the Texas/Mexico border so I'm pretty picky when it comes to original Mexican food. I liked El Lago until they recently changed their chips and salsa. Chips are hard and tasteless. I won't go back.

We enjoy eating here. They have good margaritas. The food has always been pretty good. The guacamole with the tomatoes and onions had to be mixed up and didn’t have a ton of flavor, but still decent. Fajitas good. Chimichangas good. Enchiladas good. I really wish we could find a place around here that makes a good green chili, but I don’t think that will happen. Their sauces are pretty good though. Chips and salsa tasty. Reasonably priced. Priced a lot better than some of the other places around the Springfield area.

So glad my girlfriend and I stopped in and gave this gem a try!!! We had the best experience we've had at a restaurant in a long time!!
The Food had so much flavor; the rice, beans,cheese dip down to the guacamole. The whole vibe was really fun 🔥

Hands down, the best, most authentic Mexican food anywhere around. The service is great and the staff is super friendly! There are quite a few options in the area for Mexican food, but this El Lago can’t be beat. Try them…you’ll go back again and again!
