El Monarca Mexican Restaurant

The absolute best Mexican restaurant. I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and it's always above and beyond my expectations. This is an amazing family, serving unforgettable food!

If you are familiar with California style Mexican food. This absolutely is the Best I have found in the Ozarks hands down. Sauces are made fresh & you can taste the ingredients. Portions are just right for the price. Quality of the meal & actually tasting the Authenticity of the food is definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

DELICIOUS!!! We were in Springfield & found some ok places there but El Monarca is our favorite spot! The food & service are excellent. This is most authentic Mexican food we've found in the area. I can't mention just one plate cuz it's all good. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for great food & great service.

The Maru's Fajita has a very small amount of meat in it, for 21 dollars you would expect it to be filling, it was definitely not. The Burrito De Birria Enchilado was all rice, no cheese and a small amount of meat, the chips were very stale the queso was good but for $10 you would think there would be a lot but there was not, it was more like a small order. The tacos were alright but not a lot of meat and bland. All together very disappointing not worth ordering again.

Oh my goodness! You need to go! This was my first time here. I ordered DoorDash order and my food came hot and absolutely delicious! The spices they used are so flavorful!! I’ll definitely be back!! I got the Burrito Monarca and it was so good!

The food was ridiculously good. Maybe the best fajitas I’ve ever had. Salsa top notch too. Had to wait too long to find my server to get my refill so 4/5 on service. Otherwise they were very nice and accommodating. Ambiance was just ok. Almost half way between a restaurant and a cafe. I’d like it better if it was more restaurant like. But overall great experience and I will be back!

I have been here several times and every time is a good experience. I have tried a few different meals (pictured are the taquitos) and every time, it's delicious - I feel like you can hardly go wrong here with anything you order! Fast service, fair prices, and delicious food. The best Mexican restaurant in town!
