El Puente Mexican Restaurant

My favorite restaurant of all time, my grandparents would always take me as a special treat when I was little! As an adult, and I've been all over the country with my family and ate at so many restaurants... but they all pale in comparison to El Puente!

Overall atmosphere was good. I ordered tacos carne asada and it is definitely not authentic. It came in flour tortillas and tasted as if it was seasoned with a taco packet. It was mid and not authentic. We won't be back. Chips and salsa was good though.

Tony was a great server. The food was delicious and hot. Best frozen margarita!

I ordered the tamales which came with beans and rice. The enchilada sauce was watery the beans and rice were bland, and the tamale was just ok. Honestly, it reminded me of a TV dinner. The chips and salsa were the only reason I gave 3 stars.

When you ask for tacos asada, and get the most basic asada with no cilantro and onions, on flour tortillas. Yuck……

Not good. The staff is hateful and the food is awful. Go to el monarcha instead.

El Puente is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant, and every visit is a delight! From the moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality make you feel right at home. I thought this Mexican food restaurant was good. It isn't the tex-mex I used to get in Texas. But it is good. Service is good.

A majority of the staff are rude and inconsiderate to their customers. Pricing scheme is different week to week with charges for to go boxes even though the reason the boxes are requested is because staff constantly mess up orders. This place was my ride or die for local Mexican food. But I won’t spend a single penny further at an entity which doesn’t take care of their customers.
