We are on vacation at Table Rock Lake. We drove to Nixa to visit one of Nixa's finest detectives and have dinner. (I might biased, she is my sis in law) We sat for hours visiting and telling stories. They were very welcoming and allowed us to enjoy our time. The service was wonderful, the food was very good and we took home leftovers! 10 out of 10 recommend!

My favorite restaurant of all time, my grandparents would always take me as a special treat when I was little! As an adult, and I've been all over the country with my family and ate at so many restaurants... but they all pale in comparison to El Puente!
Overall atmosphere was good. I ordered tacos carne asada and it is definitely not authentic. It came in flour tortillas and tasted as if it was seasoned with a taco packet. It was mid and not authentic. We won't be back. Chips and salsa was good though.
Tony was a great server. The food was delicious and hot. Best frozen margarita!
7.2 out of 5. Very very very very good food and service 🔥🔥🔥. Yum yum
I ordered the tamales which came with beans and rice. The enchilada sauce was watery the beans and rice were bland, and the tamale was just ok. Honestly, it reminded me of a TV dinner. The chips and salsa were the only reason I gave 3 stars.
Really great service every time!
When you ask for tacos asada, and get the most basic asada with no cilantro and onions, on flour tortillas. Yuck……

Not good. The staff is hateful and the food is awful. Go to el monarcha instead.
Easy to place to go orders, friendly and quick staff, has fed my family many times. Thank you!

El Puente is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant, and every visit is a delight! From the moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality make you feel right at home. The menu is packed with authentic Mexican dishes, each bursting with flavor and crafted with care. Whether you're craving sizzling fajitas, rich enchiladas, or refreshing margaritas, El Puente never disappoints.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the outstanding service—especially from Juan. He’s an absolute gem! Juan goes above and beyond to make every dining experience memorable. He’s attentive, friendly, and has an incredible knack for recommending the perfect dishes. You can tell he genuinely cares about making guests feel special, and it’s clear he’s passionate about his work.
El Puente isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for exceptional food, a lively atmosphere, and top-notch service, this is the spot. And don’t forget to ask for Juan—you’ll be in the best hands!
