Hinode Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi

My sister and I are originally from Missouri and love eating at Hinode whenever we're back in town. We had phenomenal service this evening, particularly our waiter, Peyton and our server/chef Engel! Both were very accommodating, polite, and took great care of us! Always a pleasure enjoying a meal here. We cannot wait to come back the next time we're in town.

We ordered to go today. The rice was very undercooked to the point we couldn’t eat it. The fried rice sides and the rice for the sushi rolls were all undercooked.

Food was delicious!! Better than nakato I think, we didn't have to wait. Made our reservation online and had no issues with it. Our cook didn't speak very much but he was very good and could cook. Everything tastes amazing. We had all our kids together and had a blast.

Hinode gave me severe food poisoning!!! Will not be eating here anymore.

Waited over 30 minutes past time that our to-go order was to be ready. Spoke to a manager who didn't seem to care. Will be going to the Springfield location or Nakato from now on.

Hinoda was super busy tonight we went for our 5yr anniversary we did have to wait nearly two hours for seating in the habachi area they were so busy which was not a problem! Everyone was doing the best they could. Jayden T. Was our server tonight. She was super sweet and made our night worth the wait even with how busy they were I’m sure she was super exhausted loved her energy. We tried our best to make her job a little easier by cleaning up our table and stacking dishes before we left. Thank you for making our night worth it! I hope we made clean up easier for you. ❤️❤️❤️

Had some great sushi and the services was fast and concise. Prices are competitive and they accommodate many requests.

Our server, Lily, was perfect! We were celebrating a birthday and she made our birthday gurl feel special. The chef was entertaining and the food was great. The decor is typical Japanese steakhouse which could use a little umph. We will definitely ask for Lily’s table when we go back again!

First time here and was surprised how good the food and service was. Lily was amazing, she made sure we were taken care of from the time we sat down to the time we left. Angle was fantastic, made sure our food was properly cooked and made sure we had plenty. Amazing atmosphere.

This is the best place for Asian cuisine in S.W. Missouri. Always enjoy the show and most especially the food. The only negative thing I could say is that the needed a couple extra wait staff, our fantastic waitress was running at 110 percent to keep up.

We were visiting from out of town and where we live have a lot of hibachi resturants. It was really really good and the cook did an amazing job entertaining and conversation with us. The steak and shrimp were really good but my chicken was a little chewy. The margaritas seemed like they had no alcohol but were only $5.
