The food here is always good. The service has suffered like so many other places but the ones that are there work very hard so they get 5 stars.My biggest issue is that families normally come here to celebrate things, etc and there are no steps taken for noise dampening. You have to pass messages down from one end of the table to the other like a telephone game. Take that into consideration if you need to catch up or have someone with noise sensitivity.Parking: Parking is shared by detail other businesses but most aren't open at night so dinner parking is pretty easy.

We went here yesterday to eat and the food was very good but the service could have been better. Our chef seemed to have had an attitude and really had nothing to say to anyone at the table. I have been to several hibachi places and have never experienced such service before. Our waiter was pleasant, but we weren’t halfway through our meal and felt as if we were being rushed out. I am hoping it was just a fluke so I would definitely give them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has an off day. But the food definitely saved the experience. The only thing I would change is the noodles. It was a nice concept to have but overall they were just bland, if we make the trip again I’ll stick with the rice.

Food was great! Server let our drinks go empty with no refills... came over when he gave us the check and said tea would be 15 minutes to brew. By that time, we had been long done, and thirsty. But every thing else was great!

My husband and I, along with our family, have been Hinode fans for years. New Year’s weekend, my husband and I visited the Nixa location and had our best experience ever. We went during the lunch hour. It wasn’t overly busy but there were several large groups and us. Instead of seating us with one of the large groups and being elbow to elbow, my husband and I got our own table. It was lovely. Our chef, Engel, was amazing. Personable, friendly and best of all, an excellent chef. We are normally seafood sauce lovers but Engel seasoned everything so well we didn’t need any sauce at all. Never have we add each component of our dinners cooked to perfection before! It was mouth watering. We were so impressed that we plan to only visit the Nixa location from here on out and will call ahead to find out if Engel is working and request his table. Absolutely recommend!

Hats off to Nixa Hinode employees! Bartender Colton was super nice and took very good care of us even after we left the bar. After being seated our server Brittany was patient and accommodated all our special requests. (We are not an easy group) Engle our chef was the best. He was fun, interesting, very entertaining and the food was great! Wonderful staff made this an over the top experience.
