Just ate at Piccolo for the 1st time today, & it will NOT be our last time! Our servers Tara & Steve were amazing & went above & beyond, the food was scrumptious, great atmosphere. Alas, we didn't have any room for dessert, but that will be remedied next time! 😃Needless to say, we were impressed! It isn't very often that I go online to recommend restaurants, but I definitely wanted to this time! Thank you, everyone at Piccolo, for a wonderful dining experience! We'll be back! 🥰

I got the tortellini baked in mozzarella cheese; they don’t usually have sausage on the menu with the tortellini, but they did that night as a special. It was so good! If they didn’t have sausage, I would have chosen the chicken with my tortellini. My wife got the chicken Parmesan. She loved it! The salad and breadsticks were wonderful. The portions were large, so I don’t recommend an app. The service was great. Food was quick! And it was good for two meals!
This place never disappoints. We’ve eaten here several times and no matter the dish, it’s excellent. This time my wife had cheese tortellini and I had lasagna with a house made meatball and meat sauce. The breadsticks are fresh and soft and the food portions are large.
This is by far the tastiest Italian food I have tried in the area. I had the chicken parmesan with blush sauce and asked for extra sauce on the side, which is a must for that dish, especially with the side of pasta. The breadsticks are amazing—fresh and always available, so you can have as many as you wish. The side salads are great too! It was super busy, so the food took some time to arrive, but we enjoyed good conversations. Make sure you have extra time in your schedule just in case the kitchen is backed up! However, the leftovers heat up perfectly, and I can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes! My mom had the penne with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach, and that was also amazing! I heard the blush cheese tortellini is also a must try! The girls that serviced were also great and even dated the to-go box which I think was going the extra mile! Thank you Piccolos for treating the community and working hard to give us a place to feed our family and friends!
The BEST place in the Springfield area. Being allergic to dairy is hard and finding pasta or anything that doesn’t have dairy is so hard. This place has options for normal and dairy free and doesn’t make you feel bad for ordering dairy free! Atmosphere is also amazing!

Got takeout for our entire family (12 people). All the servers were kind and helpful. With such a large order they prepared it fast AND got every dish right. They really pay attention to detail, plus their food is amazing. Over all wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!!

We recently had our son’s rehearsal dinner at Piccolo. They were absolutely amazing!! From the starting details with Steve & Dory, to the calls in between to check on things, to the night of the dinner…they handled everything so professionally and it was well done!! The last two visits to Piccolo were extremely disappointing.The first visit the service was poor and the orders were wrong. Once our order was taken, that was the last time we saw our server. Someone else brought our meals, which were wrong. So they had to be sent back. When they did arrive some of them were almost cold. We had to get anyone's attention we could to get our water refilled. The second meal, we ordered take out to avoid the poor service. One of the meals ordered was eggplant which my daughter and I both like. It was the worst eggplant ever. The eggplant was old with nothing but seeds. Neither of us could eat it. It was awful. The second dish was prepared with a different sauce than requested. I've been eating there since the restaurant opened. We've brought family and friends and given recommendations to others. I hate to say it, because we have so many good experiences, but we are done and won't be back.

We stopped into Piccolo on a whim after moving in across the street, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was stunning—cozy yet sophisticated, with a modern vibe that made us feel like we were dining in a big city. The décor is thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect backdrop for an exceptional dining experience. The staff at Piccolo truly sets it apart. Everyone, from the hosts to the servers, was incredibly friendly and attentive. As someone with a professional background in marketing and guest experience, I was blown away by the quality of the team. Their focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail was clear, and I appreciated that no one was distracted by cell phones. It was refreshing to see a team so dedicated to creating a wonderful experience for their guests. The menu was a delight—so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! We finally settled on the Cheese & Bacon Lasagna Roll-Ups as an appetizer, followed by the Cheese Tortellini and Chicken Parmesan for our entrées. Everything was incredible—10/10 on flavor, presentation, and portion size. For dessert, we indulged in a slice of fresh strawberry cake, which was the perfect way to end the meal. Every bite was worth the price and then some. We loved Piccolo so much that we immediately booked an 8-top for the following weekend to celebrate my birthday. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s the perfect spot for making memories, and I’m excited to return many more times. If you visit, I highly recommend asking for Chloee K—her service was outstanding and made our evening even more special. If you’re in Nixa or Springfield, do yourself a favor and visit Piccolo. You won’t be disappointed!
