I'm very impressed with this business. The involvement with community. The southern style food. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The locals definitely favor this little gem. Fully recommended.

I hadn't Jewel of a place to eat. I had a half pound the best chicken livers I've had in years chicken gravy mashed potatoes green beans coleslaw Ice-T fantastic service all at a good price. I will be eating here regular since I live by myself and I'm a terrible cook I hope I can get a picture on this post

My husband and I came to this cute little diner today to try out their cheesecake since that's their logo and that's the only thing advertised on their website. When we got there, the only cheesecake they had was their New York Style cheesecake in the fridge which was fine. We got a slice of that with strawberries on top. Decided to order three more to go. One with strawberries, blueberries and then a turtle one. These were all very delicious cheesecakes. The only downside is there isn't a variety of cheesecakes to choose from. They only have the new york style in the store and add different toppings to it. Regardless, my husband and I will be back for more cheesecake and to try out the food. It smelled delicious!

If your looking for good TRUE southern food bypass all the other spots and head here the fried chicken was great and the okra was amazing and the cheesecake for dessert well I will leave it there just go try it there will be five star reviews everywhere and PS I am from Alabama originally I have plenty of southern food in my life this is second to none . Don’t go to these places that are advertising as southern food get here and give it a try !

We were excited to try out Sandy’s family style diner since we are Nixa residents and we want to support our local restaurants and we know Sandys was extremely community focused when our community was suffering during COVID. Now that they’ve adjusted their business model I wanted to try it out promptly. You decide... the chicken was a four piece and was average size not premium. It came with a nice salad. We got sides corn, potatoes and slaw(only shared size available) we shared the ONE meal and got ONE drink and an ice water. The bill minus tip was 34 dollars. Apparently they add more than 8 dollars because we shared the meal. Okay... so if we ordered it as takeout we could have saved ourselves almost 9 dollars because they wouldn’t see that we shared it. Absolutely out of touch with the quality and quantity of food that would command such a ridiculous price.

This place is amazing. Everything on the menu seems to be a specialty. I’ve never enjoyed a place so much before. So far I’ve had the biscuits and gravy, the loaded breakfast waffle, sunrise platter, and my family has enjoyed the pancake breakfast. We plan to come back for lunch at some point, but until then I think I’ll just ask Adam to inject the gravy directly into my veins. Sorry, no photos yet. I always forget to snap a pic because I’m too excited. Keep it up Sandy’s Deli!

Sandy's cheesecake is absolutely delicious and everyone is so friendly here! The art on the walls is beautiful and interesting to look at as you wait for your meal, and the loaded waffle is as heavenly as it sounds! I highly recommend anyone in the Nixa area go here for an excellent dining experience.

I just discovered this cute little place only a few blocks from my home. I decided to give them a shot. We ordered 3 sandwiches. Chicken salad on wheat with fries was really very good. Properly filled, and wonderful flavor. We also ordered the CBR and the Dude. Both were wonderfully flavored and nicely portioned. Both had potential to be absolutely wonderful. Sadly both were so horribly dry. The Mac N Cheese on the Dude was a thick mass, no moisture at all. Sadly the roast was also dry so made it tough to eat. Dry roast happens, I just wish the cook would have revamped the mac to offset that some. On the CBR the chicken was horribly dry and the homemade ranch was very thin. A slightly thicker ranch could have coated thick enough to offset some of the chicken dryness. Possibly pound the chicken a bit thinner before cooking to lower cook time and lesson the chances for dryout. I am not giving up on this place yet. I will give another shot soon. The flavor is so spot on I know they have a great potential.
