The Baked Bean Coffee

Just OK. There are a lot of Pastries to choose from, but none of them are labeled and the staff did not know what the stuff was, & were unable to recommend something when asked. Very large, overwhelming menu..it seems that there’s a focus on quantity over quality.

We tried a couple things and were underwhelmed. The coffee had almost a fishy after taste to it, And did not reflect the flavors that it was supposed to based in the description of the coffee. In general the Coffee shop is not well cleaned. It made me worry about what the kitchen might look like to be honest. The bathroom is not well kept it definitely needs a deep cleaning.There was fly in my food, and the ingredients did not seem fresh.. the bread was very stale. I’m disappointed that this is the only true coffee shop we have in Nixa. I truly hope that they improve in the future but for now we won’t be coming back.

Five stars all the way. It's great for coffee time. Also small groups get together playing games. Also great for party's. We had a baby shower here and will definitely rent a spot here again. The coffee food and pastries are fantastic!!!

First stop on my 2025/2026 Ozark Coffee Trail and I'll say this coffee shop is adorable! Definitely a place I'd come back with my friends. So much seating and space and the actually have comfortable chairs and loveseats! Did spot some board games and checkers as well which is great to pass the time or to spend time with family or friends!
Got an iced 12 oz Boomerang and it was decent! Not super surgary as is, but there was the option to add more sweetners if you prefer a sweeter coffee. Flavors were nice and subtle. Unfortunately for me, they don't currently have any gluten free/friendly food options but the pastries and food they do offer looks heavenly!
Overall would recommend, especially as an atmospheric place to meet up with friends or people watch with a coffee!

If you love carrot cake, please, please try the carrot cake from Baked Bean Coffee. Hands down the best across the 3 states where I have tried to find good carrot cake!
I ordered a cake for my sister’s birthday and our family devoured it. It was so moist and yummy and neither the icing nor the cake was the cloying sweet of most carrot cakes. It is not the usual cream cheese icing, but is delicious. Even the non- frosting eaters ate the icing. Huge thanks to Nicole and crew - it was beautiful and delicious!

Not Springfield, but just across the river in Nixa near the first stop light the Baked Bean Coffee shop is a must try! In addition to a great coffee and drinks selection, breakfast and lunch selections, the desserts are the best you will find! If you love carrot cake, they make the BEST!! I have tried carrot cake across 3 states and have never been pleased. Baked Bean's carrot cake is above and beyond. Not overly sweet, very moist, and you can actually see carrots! The frosting is the best cream cheese icing I have ever had. It is light and not overly sweet and fatty tasting like most cream cheese icing - delicious!! This was my sister's birthday cake and let's just say the tray was scrapped clean even by the non-dessert eaters!

I had them cater my anniversary party. The space was great, food was amazing, and the cake they made for my wife and I, was breathtaking. Super friendly and helpful staff. Owner had very fair prices. Thank you so much for helping make our anniversary party a blast!

Cherry Chai, apple bar, double chocolate muffin, reuben sandwich and caramel iced latte. The atmosphere and friendly folks gave a welcoming and comforting vibe...a place I'd love to come and hang out in frequently. The baked goods were presented in a very tempting way that it was hard to decide which one to try. The apple bar was delicious and reminded me of my favorite family recipe. The muffin had a flavor and texture I just wanted to savor and capture in my memory as the new standard of muffin. Overall, I highly recommend The Baked Bean. I'm sad I live so far away.

Popped into this coffee shop as I was leaving Nixa from the family vacation. The shop itself is absolutely adorable with so many amazing spaces for people to gather and work and share. The latte that I ordered was deliciously splendid! I am a hard critique on small coffee shop and must say this one is one of the best. I will definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

We were driving through Nixa, Mo and spotted this little coffee shop. It’s cozy, quiet and a bit quirky. We ordered iced coffees and sandwiches. The coffees were carefully mixed and brought to our tables first. There’s sugar, flavored creamer and additional flavorings available to dress up your drinks. The sandwiches came a little later. They were thick and served with delicious house chips and special sauce. Everything was delicious, comfortable, quiet and nice. This was a very pleasant stop !

Great Food Great Coffee Friendly staff Fast Service Food made fresh not frozen microwave heat and heat. Reasonably priced.

The coffee is good! There's a ton of food options and the baked goods are home made. Worth the drive from Springfield and other area towns.
