I’ve been eating at this staple restaurant in Oak Grove for many many years.. Many faces have come and went, and some familiar ones still frequent the ranks of the excellent staff.It had been awhile since I had even had anything from El Maguey but decided to order something through Door Dash.. I had the Chile Relleno that came with refried beans and rice..I thought my good was amazing! I strongly recommend… everything was perfect!
As an Oak Grove resident, I highly recommend El Mags as the go-to place. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure your drinks are filled and your chips and salsa are plentiful. Personally, I can't get enough of their pollo chipotle, while my fiancé swears by their delicious steak street tacos. In our experience, both dishes have consistently been amazing! Overall, we give El Mags a perfect 10 out of 10 recommendation.

My wife and I love this place, good service great food, if you like to eat outside you can do that too, when the weather is nice. If you get the street tacos you won't be disappointed and don't forget a big bowl of queso, margarita or cold beer.

The street tacos were quite good. The fried ice cream is huge, I definitely suggest bringing a friend to help you. The waiters were extremely friendly. My experience here was one of the best i had in my life!!! The food is always hot as well!
