I’ve been a loyal customer of Scooters in Oak Grove for a long time, and I’ve always loved the service and the team. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been very disappointing.
When I visited today, Ally provided terrible service. I specifically asked for my food to be warmed up, and it wasn’t. On top of that, when I pulled up to the window, I sat there for about a minute before the window was even opened. Even then, I wasn’t greeted at all. After a few more minutes, the only interaction I had was being asked for payment—no hello, no acknowledgment.
This is not the kind of service I’ve come to expect from Scooters. The new management and service standards feel like they’ve dropped, especially compared to the friendly, attentive team I’ve known for years. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue with the same person at the window, and it’s making me reconsider coming back.

Alright where do I start with this place. First off, my blenders are always literal water whenever I order one and the new workers are incredibly rude. I miss the workers that used to work back in late April. 😞 I heard it’s new management and it breaks my heart to know one person really ruined a place that once used to be fun to go to. A recent moment I had was one of the workers, Allie, a young woman that works there and she was so rude to me. I asked her how her day was and I might as well have asked if I could give her a kiss with the way she responded to me. She was just on her phone and didnt even give me a goodbye. I am so disappointed by my experiences here now compared to how it used to be. I will now be choosing Starbucks as my go-to coffee shop… ☕️

There is a young man who currently works at this location who can NOT effectively complete cash transactions. More than once this employee has given me incorrect cash change, and then become rude and defensive when corrected about the WRONG change he tried to hand back. Even the manager did not have the wherewithal to understand that $20.92 - $13.92 = $7.00. It is embarrassing when employees at established companies such as this cannot handle cash. Not to mention the lack of customer service during these situations. Really disappointing. Train these people better! Better yet, give consequences to those who fail to perform at standard.

Went to scooters today (fathers day) and had a terrible experience. Pulled up to windows and no one greeted usfor 10 minutes. One guy was on his phone while a line was there, not assisting anyone. Drinks were handed to us and still no greeting. Very disappointing.
Adela went above and beyond with her customer service this morning for us! Much needed coffee and kindness on long road trip

Oak Grove, MO - The kids that work here are so very friendly & accommodating. My only issue is that the same order can be wildly inconsistent depending on who makes it, I guess. Repeatedly, I’ve taken that first sip as I’m pulling out & it tastes like water. Or barely flavored tea. Once, I actually went back & waited thru the line again to ask for it to be fixed. But I’m always on my way to work & don’t always have time to get back in line. It happened again today. I’m at work, I’ve paid for my drink & it tastes like water. Isn’t there a specific recipe for each drink? I feel like I’ve wasted my money on these days. And still need a coffee. 👎🏼
