We have been here multiple times, definitely was a decent in town option for us but not sure if we will be back. We were there for close to an hour and a half, waited almost an hour for our food, and it came out as the wrong pizza which was soggy and cooled by the time it finally got to our table, was obviously sitting for a while. I was told sorry.. after waiting an hour I get the wrong soggy pizza.. also my finances tater tots were cold when brought out, she did fix that and brought her fresh ones. Unfortunately I think this was more the fault of the waitress more than the restaurant but as I was expressing my concern of the incorrect food and quality she said okay and walked away. So I left. Yes I paid for my incorrect large soggy pizza that got two slices eaten of before I confirmed it wasn’t thin crust, was not good enough to take the rest home. $70 with tip, this is the reason for my review. I should not have to pay for my incorrect soggy pizza that I waited over an hour for or at-least given the option for the correct pizza to be made. I gave it two stars because the fried cheese bites were good and is normally decent food but this experience was just too horrible and didn’t see a manager to talk to.

The best part of being an otr trucker is finding great places to eat with friendly service, delicious food and cold beverages! THE OAK TAVERN IS A GEM! Our server Spring was super friendly and was kicking butt behind the busy bar.
We ordered the whisky mushroom Swiss burger!!! Wow! What a flavorful tasty burger. It had crispy edges but not dry at all. We tried some new beer for us that was pretty good too!
Live music is a bonus. We would've stayed longer if we didn't have to hit the road early.
We'll definitely come back again. Would love to party outside next time.
