Very friendly staff and the food isn't bad either. It does get busy at peak times because we're in a small town. Small things get forgotten or looked over, but they fix them quickly.
UPDATE for Dec 26th, 24 - The above rating and review still applies, but on this particular day, the restaurant was out of quite a bit of food. I'm sure it's because it was the day after Christmas, but better preplanning could have avoided this situation.
Google asked me to update my review since we revisited it, and that's the only thing I can update on because the service and food they did have was still good.
Great service, delicious food, and cute atmosphere. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend giving it a try.

We really enjoyed visiting! Great spot to listen to music and have a beer! Lots of seating. The fried pickles are really great (huge portion, too). We also ordered chicken strips to share, but they were not very good. Not to sound like a picky eater, but chicken strips are pretty basic and these were so dried out and hard we didn't finish them LOL. Given that it's a bar and the food was cheap, it isn't a deal breaker. We'll be back I'm sure.

Will not return waiter sucked, wouldn’t ever come to the table, couldn’t get refills on drinks, food was cold, waiter seen we were ready to get check she wouldn’t come over Don’t recommend coming here
We stopped here on our way back home from Higginsville to Holden and so glad we did! Our food was excellent! Our waitress was new BUT she did GREAT! Loved the environment! We will be back!!!
