Have always loved this place and catfish. Thought id try something different and got the meatloaf. Never again, its so loaded with salt had to dip it in my mashed potatoes to make it taste better. They need to chill out on the high salts unless they want to give ppl a heart attack. Other then that they have good food

I was just passing through and sought out dinner at a mom and pop place so to speak, Great food, everything was delicious (the pie was amazing) and very friendly service . They demonstrated they care about their customer’s experience

Sometimes food loses something when you order for takeout, not here. We ordered the Philly cheese steak and fried chicken dinners, both were delicious. Service was also speedy and friendly. Would dine again!

Took my mom & my 90 year old Grandma out for lunch Saturday afternoon. We decided to check this restaurant out 4 the first time. We ordered our appetizers & they overcooked it. But I wasn't going to let that get me down so we ordered our food. They charged my grandma extra for a salad when it was supposed to be with the dinner she purchased for almost $20 & then they overcooked my mom's tenderloin. So I told the waitress we were dissatisfied with it & my mom only took one bite but the waitress decided to only take $2 off of it even though she wasn't happy. I'm seriously disappointed with this place. They should of took that meal off & not charged my mom for it since she didn't eat it at all. Needless to say they just lost any chance of us coming back. Not to mention the chicken was dry & this food isn't cheap. I don't usually make bad reviews but these people are more worried about $8.00 than if their customer is happy. Very sad

Down home cooking and very yummy food and great service. My sister had the cat fish and I tried a bite and it was the best I have eaten, my brother-inlaw had the hot roast beef sandwich and he said it was good he ate it all along with my brother Fred he ordered the chicken fried steak, my sister in-law and myself had pickled beets yum and a salad. The highlight for me was the quarter push machine!! So fun!!! Bring your quarters!!

Hungry? Traveling? Stop here instead of fast food! We stopped in for a late dinner on our way to St Louis from Colorado. The service was quick and friendly. Our food was delivered quick and hot and above all it was delicious! The burgers are like they were grilled in your backyard. I had the breaded tenderloin sandwich and it was phenomenal. I didn't have room for margaritas or beer but they do have a few to choose from if you need a cocktail :) Got a piece of pie to go too. I starred this place on my map app so I can remember to stop by again when I'm passing through

We arrived and had about a 10 minute wait. Staff acknowledged us right off. Attentive, goid flavor and big portions. My kids had enough leftover for dinner! Catfish had great taste and the ribs fell off the bone! So glad we stopped here and not a chain. Would definitely return when in area. Meals avg about $10 a person.

If your looking for diner style food this place is very yummy. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and my boyfriend got a 1/2 burger both were very good. The French frys were also very crunchy and tasty. We were just driving through on our way home to Indiana and we are glad we stopped here.

One of the few, true home-cooking restaurants you'll find. From the pork tenderloin to the fried okra, everything tastes fresh from the farm. Very casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely save room for a slice of their homemade pie.

Stopped for a quick bite per a families suggestion. Food was good, all day breakfast would of been amazing as that’s what we had hoped for with choosing a small diner. Our pies were amazing! Some of the best pies we’ve ever had. Our waitress was great; however, she took our apps and food even before we were done. She just reached, grabbed, and asked “are you done?” when she already had a grasp on it.

If you stop in for fast food when you could come here then you're crazy. If you know that your roll is used to sop up gravy then stop and eat. And the pies...omg...the pies. Simple, quick, inexpensive. Do you and the family a favor.

There's an indoor garbage can out front that has half fallen apart from the weather. We walked in and the general restaurant looked the same as the can outside. We ordered our food and the amount for the price wasn't there. The food looked and tasted like it came from Sisco I ordered what the menu said was thin sliced roast beef with gravy on top not what I got. I never got a refill on my drink.i got up and got another kids menu after I knew the waitress had forgotten the second time. Lastly the order came out at different times. All in all I will not go back nor will I recommend this restaurant to any one but the health department.
