It is one of the best places for Asian food in O'Fallon. It was recommended to me by a family member who used to live in the area. It is my Pho go-to spot now. Other dishes are prepared very well. If you don't want to drive into the city, this is the next best thing.

The food was really good. I tried the hot, braised boneless chicken with steamed rice. It was very good. The only thing that wasn't good was the soda. I'm not sure if they needed to change the tab or clean the soda machine or what, but it was flat. There is way too much fizz, but not enough syrup for Pepsi.

I can honestly say without a doubt this will be my last time frequenting this restaurant! The prices are ridiculously high for the small portions of food you receive...I even asked if I was given a lunch size portion of Pho Dac Biet. At $15.95 it should be a full size bowl not a little more than a cup size was given. It had no flavor and very little proteins...they compensate for the lack of meat with a big portion of bean sprouts which I literally laughed out loud about. My Banh Mi Grilled Pork $9.95 had 3 thin, very thin, small slices of pork which did not even reach the ends of the bread and no caramelized onions as stated on the menu. It was disappointing since the sandwich was delicious just lacking pork. My hubby had Kung Pao Chicken $13.95 that he enjoyed but again it was a very small portion. The owner was extremely rude and couldn't be bothered when I asked for more jalapenos and Thai basil. She had a grimace on her face the whole night and never said Thank You when we paid out. I'm sorry but if you raise your prices and ration your portions to the amount of a child's plate then have a sour, RUDE attitude by the owner herself your business is going to slowly but surely fail!! It is definitely happening at Asian Bar & Grill...it was SLOW and maybe an attitude adjustment might help too!

First time there. Got pho dac biet, I was surprised to see just how little meat they included. A meat ball and a half and a couple thinly sliced pieces of meat is very disappointing. Broth could use some work as well, very bland.

Food is WAY over priced for the meat/seafood you get in your meal. We tried the Vietnamese dishes and the soup with clear broth was listed as having shrimp, scallops and calamari. 4 little shrimp, 1 piece od scallops smaller then a dime and little shreds of calamari like rubber. Couldn't chew up just spit out. The noodles (clear) were just as rubbery and un-etible. Cost $16.00.I had the a Vietnamese dish with " 1 egg roll" sesame beef, shredded pork and pork. Noodles greens and bean sprouts. Egg roll was a timy spring roll, less then a top of shredded pork, sesame beef? Unsure what that thing was or what the heck was in the center of it. Bean sprouts were raw. Price $14.95. If I am paying those HIGH prices there better be the meat and more of it. Definitely won't be recommended by us or re-visited! Oh cheapest drink, unsweetened tea $3.50.

We stumbled on this restaurant out driving around. The servers were nice and accommodating. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere is a little ordinary but the food more than made up for it. It's definitely worth stopping for a meal.

My husband picked up food from here for my family. It was the first and last time we'll eat here. When he pulled up both the parking lot and the restaurant were very dark. He wasn't sure they were open until he got right up to the door. They did do a good job with getting our food ready in a timely fashion and they were friendly. However, the food was not the best. I don't know why they have such a good rating. The egg drop soup, should be called egg drop jello... it was gross. The color was bright yellow nearly orange and the consistency was claggey, clumpy, goopy, and more like jello. Despite its appearance we all still tried it and the taste was terrible too. It simply wasn't edible and very expensive for how much they gave you. The container in the picture was full when we got it but it was barley enough for 2 adults and 2 kids after it was dished up. I posted the picture of the container to give reference as to the size for the price. $11 for gross "soup" goop down the drain, and straight in the trash. The orange chicken had good flavor, but some of it was way overcooked. So overcooked that it was tougher than jerky and I couldn't eat it. The other food we ordered was okay, but nothing to write home about. We won't be going back.
