Made an online order to pick up on the way home. Walked in to get placed order and, they had music so loud they didn't hear the online order go off. Even tho it was good music they were listening too. I had to wait an extra 20 min for my pizza to get done.

Consistency is the most important thing in kitchen/restaurants.

Ever since the current owner took over this location, the food has gotten progressively worse, different, or unavailable altogether.

This is the third time I have ordered where items have been substituted entirely. I didn’t complain until tonight. Our potato skins were inedible, undercooked, had provel cheese instead of cheddar, and a few specs of undercooked bacon. I have ordered the charbroiled chicken sandwich probably 200 times over the last decade or so, from several locations. Tonight is the worst I have received yet. In the past, they have forgotten the side of honey mustard that I’ve ordered and often paid for, or the bread was entirely different, such as a hoagie, tonight not only was it a hoagie, but it wasn’t even chicken breast. It was chicken breast strip. And it had disgusting provel cheese on it, which I specifically did not ask for (I said NO cheese). They retain salad dressings, their honey mustard used to be fantastic. The french fries were pathetic, soggy, undercooked crinkle cut fries, instead of the delicious battered crispy fries of the past. Barely even warm.

At least 1/3 of the items on their menu were sold out tonight. And I’m sure it wasn’t just tonight, but they probably can’t afford to keep everything in stock. It’s a telltale sign that this biz is struggling, and will probably be closing or selling soon. I truly hope that happens for the residents of O’Fallon so that somebody takes over who can actually run the place. It’s a shame, as Cecils has always been my favorite place, and would order from them 9 times out of 10 compared to Imos.

To make matters worse they tried charging me nearly $60 for what ended up being $43 because the employee was incapable of accurately ringing in the food into their system. Only when I questioned her did she get a manager to make sure it was right.

This will be the absolute last time I order from this business. Luckily for us we are moving to South St. Louis County in the spring, and I will be glad to be able to order from a different franchise owner who can actually maintain the reputation that Cecils has established in St. Louis. I will be reaching out to corporate or at least two other store owners to get a phone number of someone I can report all of this BS to.

I had stopped going to this Cecil Whittaker’s for a while because the quality had gone downhill. I previously experienced inconsistent food and too many order issues.

I recently decided to give it another chance and was pleasantly surprised.

The store feels much better run now, I chatted with the new manager, Rachel, for a bit about how my last few orders have been accurate, the pizza has been hot and fresh, and overall the experience has been a big improvement from before.

It’s good to see this location turning things around. I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s back to the St. Louis style pizza the I remember and is way better than that square beyond compare.

Oh my gosh! I never in my life felt I need to call the heath department! We dined in, we did NOT eat any of our food! The silver was disgusting! To the touch! The menus were also disgusting to the touch! The food, I have no clue. Because the girl that brought our foods hand were so disgusting! Her nails were so gross! Do not eat here!
Oh and the salad, I'm sure was frozen at some point. So gross!!! 🤮

The pizza itself was good. However the potato skins were not, they had a old stale taste. Maybe they used potatoes that were not fresh. Worst potato skins I ever had and I payed for two orders of them. I may try the potato skins again, I will update if we do. Service was okay, the young lady was not very friendly when I walked in. A older man came out from the back and did help. Overall not terrible, we will try this location again, but the Cave Springs location was always the best.

Recently returned to St Louis and saw they were still in business. Ordered a deluxe pizza and a chef salad. Both were excellent just as I remembered.

Simply Irrisistable!

Anybody can make a chef salad from bagged brown pieces of lettuce with carrot and purple cabbage shreds. Disappointed to get the above when ordering a chef salad. Miss the old chef salad they used to have.
Chicken wings are now nothing but chicken nuggets. So disappointed.

Went to this location for the first time today and their pizza was just absolutely fantastic I do wish they would have had a tip jar or something cuz I felt bad that I couldn't leave a tipped but next time I will order online and make sure I double the tip their Pizza blows away Imo's:-)
