Can't believe I'm giving Golden Corral 5 stars!! Food was surprisingly good. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Went for lunch. The place was packed @ 1:30 on Saturday. It's been many years since I have visited due to being disappointed, but this location has won me back.

We went to the Golden Corral yesterday for the first time in awhile that is located in O'Fallon Mo. off of Hwy K. I was totally amazed how great the food was. The salad bar was excellent with everything very fresh, all the rest of the buffet was also beyond great and I will definitely be back as it was a very enjoyable experience and very reasonably priced.

Some stuff was good, some was not. The employees were friendly. It's a buffet, people. Don't expect too highly and you will be fine.

clean your bathrooms, put food together on buffet line. put the butter by where your rolls and baked potatoes are. refill empty containers without having to ask. Move the big cabinet at beginning of salad bar so you Don't have to squeeze behind it. I could go on and on, but why, I won't eat there again. look at other reviews and change what others are saying too.

I went to the restaurant at a little after 1:30 pm. That's when the senior special kicks in. There are always a bunch of old people, and that includes me, waiting. They have two registers. Only one was working. There were 6 or so people waiting outside in the cold. They have a three lane que. The people waiting with me said there was some problem with a rope. He went through the line and adjusted it is some way. Then we were all able to get into the building. I asked a lady to speak to the manager. She said she was the manager. It appears that she may have been a manager. She gave me a hard time about all the old people waiting, essentially that it was not her problem. Then another lady came and took the first manager's side. It could all have been avoided if they had just done what the guy did with the rope. I'm sad. Golden Corral is my go to when I'm in a hurry or can't remember the last time I ate a vegetable.

I remembered golden corral from my florida living days. Saw there was one on my way through springville and decided to reminisce. I forgot they had steak grilled dinner options there and for the price you pay for the buffet it pays for the rest of the plates you can have. Fyi i can eat three plates of food and one more for dessert. They offer a veterans discount although most time i forget to take it. The waiteress and waiters are friendly and the cooks always try to keep everything fresh and moving. The buffets have plenty of options and theres a choice of desserts aplenty too.

Our server Scott was phenomenal. He was really really good. Made everything wonderful even though I’m sure being the holidays he had worked many hours. Great guy go see him.
